Just saw this update on the Tyler Robinson's trial.

One of the prosecutors was put in contempt of court for violating a gag order. That's the main update. Along with the death penalty still being on the table.

Since I'm already posting something I should post this.


You know. I wouldn't be THAT against this one some level.... If it wasn't for the people that wrote the report, and the kind of "faith" they think Americans should have. Like if you a a christian that doesn't believe "those who bless Israel will be blessed" - Ted Cruz. You are just an evil antisemitic bigot in their eyes. And if you are a christian that actually means it when you say you are pro life, as in you are against the murder of helpless people (I.e. if you think what Israel is doing is evil) again you are just an evil antisemitic to them.

Knowing who is involved in this report, and it being Trump who it's happening under, I have no faith that this will be used in any kind of way that actually protects peoples right to have freedom in religious practice.

For those that don't remember. Here is the tucker interview with the woman that was kicked off of that commity over not supporting Israel basically. That's NOT the kind of freedom they were talking about. The freedom to believe what every Christian believed like 100 years ago.

Is his position in support of broad child-marriage where adults marry children or children-children marriage?
The latter seems a lot less horrifying than the former.
Though, from what Ive heard, pregnancy at 16 really isnt healthy, so I disagree with Walsh outright there. But that doesnt mean they shouldnt be preparing for the responsibilities of being a mother and wife, and vice versa for boys.

Given that our current reproductive mate-selective system isnt sustainable, I think it's pretty reasonable to take some steps backward toward a system that actually worked. Where children werent, en-masse, entering adult-hood and its responsibilities alone, and actually had, directly in front of them, the reason to exist and prosper.


Also, Trump bad or whatever.

Obviously, just having kids marry each other isnt the fix. I hope nobody reduces my comment to that. But, I think that would probably be derivative of the fix.

Parents should teach kids how to be parents, as they approach maturity. It shouldnt be normal for people to be agnostic about when or if theyre going to marry and have children.
A fixed chain of parenthood should be the thing people build extraneous things like career or hobbies around.

I was more curious about the statement of the “reproductive mate-selection” system being “unsustainable,” because the phrasing sounds like some incel shit on par with Chris Chan wanting Santa to bring him a boyfriend-free girl.

I don’t think anyone is arguing that poor parenting can be a contributing factor to societal issues, but suggesting that kids marrying early and dedicating their youth to focusing on parenthood would be a viable solution (instead of working towards achieving the financial security needed to afford parenthood, especially in king pedo’s economy) is naive at best and dogmatic at worst.

Since were willing to be civil enough to answer my question, I won’t be too harsh on you, but I will offer some helpful advice: if you’re actually as passionate about this sort of thing as you claim to be, and want people to take your argument seriously, maybe try using less incel-adjacent lingo to get your point across. Nobody takes incels seriously, and rightfully so.

The younger parenthood starts the more accumulated parenthood the children have access to, via grandparents and great grandparents. The more energy the parents have to give to their children.
This would also resolve the mate-selection problem, because by focusing on creating good parents, mothers and fathers, you create good husbands and wives.
A husband is worthless to a woman if he cant be a good father, and a wife is worthless to a man if she cant be a good mother.
This is what mate-selection was for before it got hijacked by fickle eros.

Prices and inflation have decreased, the unemployment rate has been reduced to the lowest in the history of the universe, crime is at an all-time low across the world, insurance prices have dropped, medical care has improved, the housing market is fantastic, Iran isn't a world-ending threat anymore, the DOW is above 50k, and most importantly, Israel is doing amazingly!

See, this is what I’m talking about: you keep using this bizarre phrase like it’s some common concept, but nobody I know has ever had a problem “selecting a mate,” especially for marriage. This sounds less like an actual societal problem and more like something you’d hear on National Geographic.

Also I can attest that your concept of the benefits of younger parenting does not go as smoothly as you’re implying. The stress of trying to get a secure financial foothold before establishing a solid career can, and often does, get in the way of a couple’s ability to be good parents, which is already a stressful enough job as it is. You bring up having the grandparents around for support, but what if they’re disabled or sick? That sort of thing becomes more common with age, you know. Then the couple isn’t just taking care of their children, but their parents as well, and that’s assuming the grandparents didn’t die early.

This white-picket fantasy of yours isn’t as cut and dry as you make it out to be, especially when you also consider that most people haven’t even fully mentally/emotionally matured until well into their 20s. There’s a reason almost all arranged marriages from brown countries end in misery.

TLDR: Don’t marry children OR make children marry.
