He can just say no but I doubt a random FPE poster on here wasn't at least active on the sharty, and given all of them are banned now (save for 2) then i can only assume it's one of the people I mentioned

Before you bring up "they married at 12 years old in the past"

In the medieval times they didn't marry at low ages either, those were reserved for very specific nobles who wanted to consolidate power through quick marriages, which were just huge property trades / business deals using people as medium. It had nothing to do with relationships, it was just politics. The Catholic Church thus allowed marriage at 12 and 14 years old. But since unmarried women in those times were owned by their fathers, both fathers had to agree to the marriage along with the priest.

This is why most folks married at 20-26 years old in Medieval Europe, and had tons of children before dying around 50 years old. A regular (and even most nobles) person just wasn't considered as mature, skilled or strong at 12 than at 20. This is just basic logic. In 1560, the average age of marriage for couples was 24 in Wales. This is how we know the customs of marriage was to marry around their 20s, due to both fathers and the priest (moral authority) having to agree to the marriage.
