I don't understand why every little project Trump does is treated like some kind of war crime.

It's a dumb strategy. Many have checked out on political news because they make a mountain out of every insignificant thing Trump does and it's way too much information. Now it's extra stupid because he won't be running in 28 and they are letting his potential successors (Vance/Rubio) largely go under the radar under the hopes they can knock them out by focusing on how they were connected to Trump. It's not gonna work either because most people know sometimes you have to work with a baddie to get your foot in the door. I mean that's like part n parcel of being in the workforce ffs

I don't know if this is rhetorical or if your being sincere, but it's unfortunately very simple. Anything Trump does = unequivocally bad. That's it, that's the entire logical grounds for their complaints. I used to think they had some nuance in their arguments, but no, they don't. They will assume anything Trump does is BAD and then work backwards from there to justify that stance.
