I can't even imagine the stress his anesthesiologist is going to have over this surgery. It's messed up how happy Boogie is about this surgery. It's like he thinks he's going to wake up skinny. Dude, this is just the start and the first two weeks are going to be hell on earth as not only can you not eat your mental pain away, you're going to be in serious physical pain, and yea, you can't eat to put it off your mind.

Is he going to Tweet during the operation as well?
He thinks he'll grab his phone right after. He's never gone through major abdominal surgery and nobody seems to have prepared him. I guarantee you, he is not going to be tweeting in the recovery room. This isn't yanking the appendix, this is having his entire intestinal system fucked with, parts removed and re-routed, and that shit hurts more than is describable.
He might-might be able to do a short tweet in 24 hours but only if they have done an epidural and finally gotten a level of pain control, which doesn't happen instantly. IV dilaudid won't cut it. Hard to say what this hospital does and what his insurance will approve. Boogie's lived lived his life as a whiny little bitch avoiding even the slightest discomfort, so this is going to be a huge wake up call.
They show people in recovery on my 600 pound life and make it seem like it's right after surgery but it's probably three days later.
TL;dr. I'd watch his wife's account for updates.

Obviously late here, but as commendable as it is for him actually to actually go through with the surgery, all it's saying to me is that he lacked the self-control to lose weight by normal means in the first place, despite easily being able to do so, even with a calorie intake still well above that of an average person.
Now he's backed himself into a corner where straying off his perscribed diet and indulging in his little treats at any given point means a painful death. All the asspats, ad-revenue, twitch donations and patreon cuck bucks can't help him if he doesn't have the mental fortitude to get shit done.
And whilst he's nowhere near as bad as the vast majority of other cows here, he does share their capacity for self-sabotage, which is probably why this is going to end in tears.

Not to power level too much but my dad had stage 4 cancer and they tried to remove most of his IG in order to save him and he said when he woke up (surgery didn't work either, fml) it was the strongest pain he had ever been in and part of him wished he had just died on the table. This is a guy that was in Vietnam and had a finger blown off.
Boogie has no fucking clue what he's got himself into.
