There are some that are harmless. Justin RPG springs to mind. I only know him from the MATI episode, but he's just a mentally disabled guy with fetish. Others are bad but get a disproportionate amount of blowback.

Said in another thread recently, but I only knew of Comicsgate in relation to culture war shit. I remember Mark Waid being one of the crazies, trying to get people cancelled/blacklisted and breaking down crying in his office over some internet pundits making a successful comic.

Every Zoosadist: Animal crimes are not prosecuted hard enough. Worse, almost of them faced no consequences at all, even Kero, the guy who it all broke out from, only suffered from reputation damage from the outside and displacement from his Youtube channel. That furfags were able to turn the narrative into "furry detectives stopped Kero" despite the furry community sheltering him TO THIS DAY makes my brain hurt.

Zoe Quinn: Drove a man to suicide, kickstarted Goobergape, still a welcome figure in the industry despite all of that, and anyone who calls her out on it is made out to be some kind of retarded incel.

Goonclown and his Orbiters (Ella Hollywood/Chris Tyson/Finnster): Groomers extraordinaire who all very openly get off to the idea of grooming and fucking kids. Finnster in particular is still a notable streamer despite clear ties to the other 3.

Shadman: Patient Zero of the current degenerated state of the Internet, IMO. His edgelordery mixed with porn and pedoshit permeated pretty much all notable content creators and every corner of the web when he was at his high. Sure, now he's sank into relative obscurity and is mostly a punchline, but his mark on the internet will last for an extremely long time and has only made it worst.
