Yeah, she mentioned something else happened in court after the phone thing, per her later tweet. I'm guessing either the phone went off again, or she reacted in court to something Nick said, and she was already on thin ice with a bailiff and maybe the judge... So... (The last part is just speculation, I guess we'll see if the video gets posted, and she mentions it.)

The judge could still insist on dealing with it, especially with the last minute no show for today as well. Ultimately if Melton just caved I could easily see the judge simply washing his hands of the whole thing instead of trying to drag Melton's fat ass back out there again

It's weird to me that Stearns County just has a no phones sign out front. Even at my very rural county courthouse they have you put your phone in a lockbox before they'll let you through the metal detector to go in.
