Sharing this was fucking retarded and I have no idea why you would.

The actual abortion, even if I lean against abortion in general, doesn't bother me. Bringing a downie into your life basically fucks your life up, and creates someone who will need to be cared for by yourself, the state, or a private caretaker for the rest of their life.
 
Announcing it is kind of a shit move, but honestly I can't fault them for aborting a retarded fetus. This isn't like the typical nigger/low class white abortion where it's done because they can, it's done for the proper reasons, to prevent a life from undue hardship when shit is already hard enough

Personally I think the kid should have lived, but objectively putting an announcement online for internet updoots that you killed your retard child is career suicide on a new scale.

Agreed. Also, this baby was terminated at 5 months. Meaning it was torn apart over a test known to have false positives.

Also, these people obviously had resources to care for the kid available. They just didn’t want to ruin their image with a disabled kid.

Well it's a no brainer to be honest.

I would take the same decision.

Talking about it publicly only makes sense if he made an announcement previously I guess. Both of which are distasteful.

My wife had the test done at 11 weeks iirc. Don't know what we would have done if the baby had downs but we wouldn't have made it public.
 
Niggers in this thread act like it’s the 1930’s still, where a kid with Down’s is an unbearable burden as opposed to today where the most likely worst case is he’d have a speech impediment and would never be a champion reader. I’d take a kid with Down’s over a kid with autism any day.

I mean, 90% of down syndrome pregnancies end in abortion, it's a fairly reasonable thing for most people, especially with how expensive shit is today.

Announcing it is insane though.

Parents are lobbied hard by medical professionals to abort the pregnancy. I have friends who went through this. They ultimately decided to terminate the pregnancy but were both horrified by how relentlessly abortion was marketed to them by doctors, nurses, everyone.

I feel like a lot of people here don’t have much experience with Down syndrome. There are different levels of it and a hell a lot of more resources and therapies today.

A lot of people with Down syndrome can hold
A job, drive, have relationships, get married and even have kids themselves.

I agree with you about downs versus autism thing just because the current popular autism “therapies” coddle the kid’s every whim and turn what should be high functioners into mid functioners. At least with downs, they try to get them to work to the best of their abilities.
