I'd argue it is the MOST moral to let all and sundry know what these "parents" get off to. Perhaps if the path was through the authorities, they tend to be a little more vague in explaining to kids about why they can't be alone with their parents. That would be ideal. He also said something about how he would DM Conor after the call because he clearly didn't want to say something about why he was downplaying things. Reading his message to Destiny, it seemed like all he was really was saying to Destiny was, "I don't want this smoke."
He's very obviously scared of Destiny. Destiny has some compromising information on him, plus he can very easily sic his audience on him.
