I think he is referencing the fact that he called her darling and is egging her on to respond to it. Like "Darling? Darling? Is it okay I called you darling? I wrote three "?"s so you HAVE to respond." He's getting dangerously close to the line again...

I'm not sure. My guess is that's the set of emoticons Chris likes to include whenever he calls Doopie "darling."

Maybe Patreon or the site I'm using to view it doesn't translate the icons properly.
