...Does that mean I have to hate white people? I can recognize that if we let in too many Muslims, this country is fucked
No, just don't pretend.
If we’re talking about religion, did anyone else notice how casinos are like Native American temples?

It’s all about smoking indoors. Burning tobacco is supposed to carry your prayers to the gods
Natives and smoking has always been fascinating. They never seem to get hurt from it

Whenever "freedom of religion" is brought up in the context of the Founding Fathers always remember that the United States at the time was extremely Protestant, that at the time there were a number of individual state churches (but no national one) and that the incorporation of the Free Exercise Clause/Establishment Clause (Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...) from the 1st Amendment into state law has only been around since the rulings of the Cantwell v. Connecticut and Everson v. Board of Education in the 1940s. Muslims and Hindus were basically non-existent in the national population during the Revolutionary era meanwhile only 1% of the population was Catholic and 0.03% to 0.08% were Jewish.

when your liver kills at 54 due to firewater you don't get a chance to grow heap-um big lung tumors, large and majestic, like the buffalo

Mormons are not Christians, and there’s a lot of evidence that the top of the Mormon church is satanic in nature.

Look up why they changed their public name from Mormon to Latter-Day Saints.

Mormonism is just White Islam.

>Guy is visited by an "Angel" telling him he's the REAL last prophet
>The Prophet can have as many wives as he wants but his followers are far more limited
>Leads a crazy group of armed bandits into the desert and takes over a decent chunk of territory because the successor of Rome did nothing to stop them, despite impassioned pleas from the locals
>Bible fanfiction

Also some states even prohibited Catholics from holding office.

It's at this point I'd post the "Why not both?" meme. Then I realized I'm in super-serious USPG2.

Although, when I grew up the Mormons in my area, while a little odd, were perfectly fine. Some of the women were smoking hot too.
The rank and file are usually ok, if a tad dumb. It is the highest ranks, the ones in charge of the Tabernacle, that are the evil ones.

There are ares within the tabernacle that are off-limits to all but a tiny handful of people, which is just one of the ways that Mormonism is more of a cult than a religion. Read the book The Godmakers, or watch the movie documentary made from it. The Mormon church does some extremely evil shit and is antithetical to christianity in even more ways than Roman Catholicism.

As a newly minted rural Nevadan, there are more casinos than supermarkets (substantially, at least 2:1) and ethnic diversity consists of whites, Mexicans and natives. Natives look the same as Mexicans but wear beads and have tribal IDs

It’s like almost an even three way split between those groups, so I can’t say for sure but I do kinda feel like a minority. I’m the only white male at work

I saw a black girl but I’m pretty sure she was some kind of transient prositute

I’d say I’m living the Chris Nolan version of fallout new Vegas, maybe in like Khan territory, but fuck the new California republic anyways

Im waiting for the quest to contact the boomers

The freedom of religion envisioned by the Founding Fathers that did not establish a national church seems like it was meant to be a compromise between the dominant Protestant denominations in the 13 Colonies. It's fair to say it was never intended by them to become a legal defense for any faith hostile to Americans. The 14th Amendment and its consequences must be thanked for that.

There was the Illinois Mormon War in 1844 to 1846 where Mormon militias fought the Illinois State Militia. They lost are were driven out of Illinois.

I assume it involves going to the oldest run-down casinos in your town.
That’s the crazy thing. The casinos are by far the nicest shit. Everything is old and run down EXCEPT the casinos, which only adds to the FNV surreality

Like, New Vegas is a shithole until you can access the casino area

Edit: looked it up and supposedly rural Nevada is whiter than urban, like 70%. Maybe people are extremely tan? Maybe the Obama demographic fuckery just classified hella Mexicans as white?
