What fashion trends do you think suck?

Remember when they were peak indie/tumblr girl crowd pleasers? Been years since I've been to one but I was shockeddd it was all broccoli head jogger wear. I'm never associating myself with anything Zara (Inditex treat their employees like absolute trash, never ever work for them)
I go to Zara for summer clothes and work clothes but they're pretty meh otherwise. Website is completely unusable too

Jennifer Wang goes around showing the various defects in fast fashion and things to look for when clothes shopping, like properly sewn seams and linings and things. She's been ragging on Zara for a while now, seemingly with good reason:

ZAras website is … a choice. Which is a shame because they’re one of the few brands that actually does clothing for small women.

I would like to express my dislike of the colour schemes that seem to be ‘in’ this summer. It’s all really garish colours, like sherbet pastels for want of a better word, I do not like it, no I do not. I need a frock for summer garden party type events and everything has hideous poofy sleeves and these awful colours

You weren't lying, holy shit, it's barely usable

And why is everything asymmetrical

And why is everything asymmetrical
Goodness knows.

Wait… they didn’t like everything cropped? What’s wrong with them? Make it regular length? No, no we won’t do that… how about one side regular length? Yes, asymmetric hems all round!

Mango and Zara (Spanish brands?) used to do really nice stuff in a style I quite like and on sizing that worked (I get the impression Spanish girls are small?)

I have rage at the length of tops these days. Why are they all either cropped or practically knee length? I just want them to be long enough to give some stomach coverage.
I also hate the asymmetrical thing. It's retardation in fabric form.

That looks like the pants version of those weird pinchy shirts you could win at the arcade that came compressed into little balls

Apparently they were called "popcorn shirts," looking it up. They were terrible, especially if you were an awkward fat girl and wanted to wear your weird new shirt and all the puckers were stretched out and you looked like you had a really wrinkled shirt that barely fit (n-no it didn't happen to me, I mean hypothetically b-baka...)

Another thing I find annoying in advertising - the model squatting so you can’t see the dress. You have one opportunity to show me this dress. Don’t do this, I can’t see the dress. I have no idea what it looks like. you could have a cushion cover wrapped round you for all I know. I get that standing still and upright facing the camera is boring after a while, but still.

Apologies for a double post but I saw these and simply had to bring them to you all.
Ladies, are you sick of how shoes protect your whole foot? Is your footwear company struggling with the cost of materials?
Well sigh no more!
BEHOLD!

The trend of turning football shirts into anything other than actual team kits.

Those baggy/cargo pants with edgy/anime graphics.

If we had done this back in my day we would have been crucified
This is kinda inoffensive as it's not loose pants in there, but yeah, I remember the time one was seen as hobo-tier sloppy and lolworthy, if a slightest bit of an ankle sock was showing. Unbelievable how the fashion of back then was unhinged and yet uptight at the same time. Glad to see that post-Y2k era gone.
It was made even worse where I live, because people wanted to be seen as all Worldwide and EU-worthy and subvert socks & sandals stereotype, so socks were ew and unclean by default, quite like underwear in history was called Unmentionables.
Some girls in high school were even wearing nylon socks in birkenstocks & jeans, because they wouldn't be caught dead wearing normal socks visibly. They looked as if they had webbed feet.
