Real ballistic gel is a dark yellowish brown and barely translucent. The tests have to be performed at a fairly strict range of temperatures and the block is only good for one shot. I think I've seen one channel try to do it properly once and that was specifically to prove that a certain hollowpoint round was actually really good for what it was (a .22lr round marketed for self defense) and all the guntubers and forum users who watch them saying it was trash were wrong

The most I've seen is some namedrops of The Voting Rights Act of 1965 and how the Act is weakened and minority voices are being silenced (in a general sense of course). The problem is this argument doesn't hold water under scrutiny. People have lost their appetite to the idea that you have to be racist to fight racism. People are well aware that promoting and elevating one racial demographic in terms of voting influence means taking from others.
