Seasons 1 and 2 took place in a high-school and featured high-school-aged characters played by actors in their 20s having risky sex and battling drug addiction.
Season 3 has a subplot where Sidney Sweeney creates an OnlyFans and poses in a diaper and a dog costume. They're trying to sweep up promotional images that featured this due to backlash.
Sam Levinson, the show's creator, says he "method-dresses" as his characters and writes alone, so I'm not gonna be surprised if he troons out or get arrested.
