Thinking about it, letting Iran do what they want with fees and shit would not be a total wash given it's not going to affect the US all that much, and only bother the faggot countries that kept us from using our own bases in the area. I'd of course prefer total sandnigger death, but I'll settle for the inevitable "Iran keeps demanding more for use of the strait and Europe keeps having to take it on the chin for being faggots" silver lining.

A reformed, liberal, US aligned Iran enacting tolls on China and Europe is fine by me.

Since some of the threadniggers have gotten uppity, I would just like to remind those who love to wax and whine to the rest of the thread about the advent of a gorillion consequences, that proselytizing to kiwis that it's actually bad to vaporize pedophiles in the desert is an inefficient method of raising your social credit score

They don't even have to be liberal. Let them be a monarchy or sultanate or whatever the fuck. Why should we give a shit if other countries are Kingdoms as long as they aren't Commies?
Because America has this dumb habit of deciding that if your society can't vote for who sits on top of the money pile, then they must be oppressed, enslaved and victims of tyranny. Especially when said money pile comes from Oil or resources we want.

I wholeheartedly agree. If it's a monarchy, it would also have the potential as a cultural anchorage for them to cling on to other than solely relying on the pedo religion, imo. Granted, I'm not knowledgeable on this.

I don't think that's exactly what we're getting. Iran seems to have successfully killed all the willing 'freedom' fighters(5±% of the population), and avoided a secular takeover, the people left simply didn't have the will. They won't be liberalizing anytime soon but things won't be quiet as bad as they were. The price paid to do that was getting utterly neutered as a military power, losing out on their nuclear aspirations and some religious/philosophical egg on their face(in Islam you don't "lose" Allah either rewards you or punishes you). Plus, they're effectively out of the short term game and probably will be for the next 50 years. They're going to toll/tax the fuck out of Europe and their relationships with China and Russia are ruined so that's also a nice cherry on top of this shit sunday. So what were left with is an Iran that doesn't suck as much and will begrudgingly go along with US interests, while also financial fucking Europe, Russia and China as it no longer has any friends. I'm not disappointed and I'm also not impressed, I'm whelmed. It's the gas station hot dog of outcomes.

I hate the idea i'm upset we didn't get to blow up bridge and power infrastructure. I don't like letting the blood thirst taking me like that.

Am I the only one that feels that way?
If it makes you feel any better, there is a very good chance that the United States will blow up something else eventually.
