Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

But seriously, that photo looks fake as fuck. Don't they wear camouflage underwear?
If they don't they really should, because imagine you lose your fucking flight suit when you land, what color underwear should you wear? OH I KNOW, FUCKING STAR SPANGLED UNDERWEAR!
Ridiculous...
Lucky underwear. Pilots, everyone I’ve known, are superstitious as shit. Although like everyone I know is a Catholic or Jewish.

The Shah posted to Telegram about an hour ago asking the IRGC to surrender before whatever is supposed to happen on Tuesday. Last time this was threatened, Pahlavi said that was the nation’s assets and asked US/Israel not to attack but this time he’s addressing the regime. Obviously the islamists aren’t going to listen to anything he has to say but it does make me wonder how much the US and Israel are keeping him looped in.

Japan has eight months of oil reserves and has price controls on gas so they're completely unaffected from an average citizen's point-of-view:

I presume the same is true for other (non-China) Asian countries because they're not run by retarded Gaia-worshipping theater kids like Europe is.
Nah. Japan will not suffer as much since it has the fiscal reserves to just pay their problem away. Lol, lmao style. The poor Asian countries will suffer far more. But Japan literally shows no long term plan.

They just removed a tax on gasoline and put in a price cap above 170 Yen or so at the gas station. So if the price rises above that, the government is paying for your consumption. So instead of trying to reduce consumption they just throwing money at the issue.

This would not be so much of an issue if Japan would be fiscally sound, but they had issues to sell their governmental bonds just a few months ago. Their low interest rates makes their treasuries not attractive compared to higher yielding US treasuries, if you take both countries inflation into account. Thus the value of the Yen has been plummeting. And this is very bad news if you have to import most of your energy. And raising interest rates is difficult with a debt to GDP ratio of what? 200 %?
80 % of the gas and oil from the Strait is destine for Asia. China and India can pivot to Coal. That's also an option for Japan but only to a smaller extend since they import nearly all of their coal too and if China and India pivot towards it - it will also drive up the price of coal.

A few graphics from: https://think.ing.com/articles/oil-shock-for-asia-identifying-the-first-pressure-points/

India and China can go for coal.

2.png

The effect of price controls. The real cost appears on the Japanese governments budget though,

3.png

Deficit spending high across the board with a few exceptions. Energy price hikes will just make this worse.

4.png

Good for Japan though. They have lots of foreign reserves. So they can make pay the problem away if they choose to sell some of their assets. Mostly US treasuries. But that will drive up the US interest rate.

Asia does not have the oil and gas reserves to get it domestic.

They just did not invest enough in non-fossil fuel sources. Neither renewables nor nuclear. Nuclear too is an issue in Japan since a major nuclear plant running company had to admit to falsify seismic data for their plants. In Japan of all places. What could go wrong.

Should have build more wind turbines and put up solar panels I guess.

There's very clearly remains in that helicopter. The rescue does not appear to have gone as smoothly as claimed.

Fake and gay, because there's literally no reason to leave a single skeleton'd corpse in a helicopter when you've successfully extracted the WSO and an entire SOF team in a loud-ass C-130 through hundreds of miles of enemy territory. The IRGC probably dumped one of their own smoked buddies from the extraction fight in there for a propaganda setup, the same way the Pali-fags use staged actors for their "poor injured Palestinian" photos.

FYI Trump won't give a straight answer because it keeps Iran wondering. Its strategic.
They now how to divide dwindling resources for not only air defenses but a possible ground operation in a weakened state. If Trump said "no ground troops" Iran could allocate more people to air defenses and missiles. The unpredictable nature is a weapon in and of itself.

Compare that to the faggotry that Obama did about redlines and taking certain action off the table. It gave our enemies a framework to plan future military action around because they knew Obama would never commit to action xyz.

The other key point is not only do we have 218 F-15Es with more in storage, but the F-15 is in active production - we can make more if we wanted to.
I think the best part about this is, the plane that went down was an OLD F-15E, the replacement would be a new, freshly painted F-15EX, with all kinds of fun new toys. In a messed up Military-procurement kind of way, losing 4 means, "oh wait, we need 4 new ones."

Sperg on F15EX

"29,500 pounds of ordnance or 22 air-to-air missiles."

Good Comparison

"Yay, we got his boxers!"

Muzzies not beating the allegations they're all gay as fuck anytime soon.
Imagine being the guy that left the boxers there. Bet he’s hollering.
I think Trump or somebody else said Germany had been surprisingly helpful. I know if it was up to their military they would be all in, I know several guys who have been stationed in Germany and they all say German military guys are based as it gets. That seems to be the vibe I get from most euro militaries actually though it's mostly hearsay.
Although I say we should leave nato.. I actually like a lot of rural Europeans and the members of their military. I would unironically support the militaries of Europe taking control of the civilian governments because their civilian governments are utterly retarded.
This is even better because now Iranian commanders must be sweating at the reality that yes, America can just build temporary runways in their own desert and fly off.
Funny to see the frogs scoffing at this.
The French have evolved past the need to surrender when things get tough, now they surrender at the very idea of a difficult task!
The French military should just coup Macron. They’re such cucks they would fold immediately.
Just look at the cope and sneed:

Best Girl proves the haters wrong.
Ah yes, I'm sure it was just a total accident and not them lashing out at someone they know is too chicken to fight back to make themselves feel better.

The UK might even apologize for anything they did that would lead to the confusion.
The letter will be written in all caps.
I wouldn’t be shocked if the boxers were left there as a meme
Speaking of memes…

Since it was brought up in the happenings thread but is relevant to this, Trump's praise of "Allah" was likely meant to be a salt in the wound moment for Iran. That, when he finally strikes Iran on Tuesday (assuming it happens), their God will not be on tehir side. Whether or not that was smart is a matter for the debate thread, but just some food for thought.

Edited for correction. The Trump Enslavement thread doesn't like us very much, do they?
He was just twisting the knife.

He's a STICKER NIGGER!

WE HAD A FUCKING AIRBASE IN THEIR COUNTRY AND THEY HAD NO FUCKING CLUE.
Tbh that was also the Eagle Claw playbook and that failed miserably, so I almost don't blame people for discounting it out of hand. Though Eagle Claw had way more moving parts and the makeshift desert airfield deep in Iranian territory was only the first step out of many increasingly complex and dangerous ones that in hindsight were impossible to pull off with late 70s American capabilities.
