Weight Watchers is pretty much the only program that works. It's basically just simplified calorie counting in and out (single digit numbers for food items and exercise, double digit limits per day), a dash of shame with public weigh-ins if there's a group near you, with a carrot on a stick in the form of, if you hit your goal weight and maintain it for some amount of time, you get a free lifetime membership. It's especially helpful now that there's an app, you can take a picture of the barcode or enter the nutrition facts and it will spit out the point value for you

It's a pretty good program in my opinion if you can't be bothered to track your calories/macros the old fashioned way. The one thing I don't like is that there's 'free' items, mostly veggies, which can encourage binging.

And that’s the petrol version - the EV is even less of a success. People shoping for Teslas and Hellcats don’t often cross paths.

An Arlington Heights couple has been charged in connection with the repeated vandalism of a Republican political office in the northwest suburb, including graffiti featuring swastikas, obscenities, and mocking references to slain conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

Brock McNerney, 72, and Moisette McNerney, 69, of the 1200 block of East Clarendon Avenue in Arlington Heights, were taken into custody on Monday, the village police department announced. Both were charged with two misdemeanor offenses and released pending their initial court appearance.

The pair was identified as the individuals responsible for vandalizing the Republicans of Wheeling Township office at 909 East Rand Road late on January 25, Arlington Heights PD said. Video showed two people using markers to write obscenities and draw symbols on the office windows at approximately 10:51 p.m.

Arlington Heights Police Chief Nicholas Pecora said the responding officer documented profanity written in black ink, several Nazi symbols, and what appeared to be feces and an unknown liquid on the walkway leading to the office door.

John Saletta, the deputy Republican committeeman for Wheeling Township, told CWB Chicago in January that the incident was actually the second time the office had been targeted. The first occurred in December, when someone wrote statements on the building’s exterior brick mocking Kirk, who was fatally shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University in September.

Those messages included phrases such as “CHARLIE SQUIRT FRIENDLY FIRE,” “MY NECK HURTS,” and a longer statement referencing Kirk’s “passion for hate.”

Saletta said the organization was “low-key” about the first incident but decided to install security cameras afterward.

Arlington Heights PD thanked members of the public for their assistance and cooperation in providing information during the investigation.

What they should've done was keep the Charger as a 4-door RWD sedan and design a new gen Hemi to go with it, put the new hurricane I6 in a smaller little sporty car and all the performance trims of whatever Stellantisslop it fits in. What they decided to do instead with the EV was like if Ford announced a two door Mustang Mach-E was the only 'Mustang' going forward and when it predictably doesn't sell they put the 3.5 twin turbo ecoboost V6 in it. The ecoboost is a powerful engine in its own right but it's no 5.0 and it would be stuck in a shitty compromise chassis the same way the Hurricane is in the nu-Charger's.
