I couldn't decide whether this was maddening or just hilarious. I've never seen someone accidentally insult their entire understanding of a subject this much. Color theory? Motherfuckin image manipulation? This is so important to animation I cant see how this isn't satire. What an miserable ingrate.
Then again, I guess this explains why most of his art looks dull as all hell.

You mean you're too afraid to show people how much you had you're head up your ass back then with bad persona drawings and screaming your negative opinions to rack up views and controversy in your videos?
I guess I can't blame him for someone who's "trying" to improve on his channel, it probably wouldn't be the best idea to bring up past events and videos that would make him look terrible in front of his new viewers.
Also at one point he says that he was depressed because his friends thought he was stupid for still watching cartoons as a middle schooler and that's how he stopped watching cartoons all together. He moved onto watching reality TV and wrestling because he thought that was the only way to make friends but of course that didn't work.
However, Ben has made a video about his life in the past, almost 3 years prior to the Draw My Life video.
When he talks about going into middle school, he says that he started to become less and less interested in watching cartoons because he thought they were just for kids, so he started to move onto watching wrestling and reality TV shows instead. So which is it Ben? Did people not like you because you were watching cartoons? Or did you grew out of cartoons and they didn't like you for the movies and stuff you watch?

Looking at his animations makes me ask so many questions. Namely "What kind of teacher would consider any of this acceptable?" and "He went to art school for this?" His animations reminds me of my old animations from high school.
And good lord that CGI at the end of the first short. That somehow looks even worse than his 2D, and he ruined a perfectly animatable rig with his crappy skills.

Spoken for what's sadly the truth - especially when you see how much variety anime has over most western fare in general (e.g.: exactly why most people don't talk about western animation all that much, compared to anime - and that's FACT.).
Too bad I'm confident Ben would likely be an even worse pedophile than he is now, had he even come close to getting into anime more than the garbage he propped himself up in a pathetic attempt to look cool (e.g.: normal) that "Reality TV" and "Wrestling" are.
I feel the way I do about this, especially knowing what we know about him, what with his over - exposed love for little girl ass he failed to keep to himself... Just let him expose himself to enough fan - service and we'll likely see something much worse than what we have on him.

He could've watched Anime, live action TV, really anything that's made for adults that would've broadened his horizons instead of wrasslin' and reality shows. He couldn't even attempt to move on from cartoons the right way.

Ben and Dobson are the only exceptions to the idea that artists get better over time. If anything, they've gotten worse over time. I mean, OPL is shit, but he's at least consistently shit, and that makes them a lot worse, imo.

I personally wouldn't consider someone whose videos don't break 100,000 views to be popular, but to each their own. Maybe he can go to Burger King twice in a week.
