Phil hates anything that requires a HINT of adversity, struggle, and something that requires a HINT of creativity. Phil wants a smooth and easy road, with all of his needs handled and taken care of, and everyone that unfortunately has to deal with him everyday, to cater to his everyday needs. He needs money for that Doordash order? Hit up a dent at 3AM via email and hopefully that anon comes in with that $50. We saw this back in Bridgeport, where he bought that condo that was literally a 5 minute drive to his parents house and that helicopter job just so he could get his laundry done by mamma Burnell and get meals. The thing is Phil has always hated streaming even back in 2013. He's not made for this. He wants to just upload slop, never deal with anyone and collect money. Actual Phil is a ball of hate, but his natural state would also be silence 95% of the time. And there's the reality that every streaming platform he can make money on is laced with censorship and cancel culture, which affects everyone.
I still think Phil discovering the internet ultimately hurt him in the long run. He's someone that should be working in the back of some office basement doing the most basic of tasks, and left the fuck alone. When new hires come along, they're told immediately "Don't bother him and don't try to befriend him - just let him be and he won't bother you." He should've been taking calls in customer support and kept doing that, or at least stuck to do something of that role, along with staying in Bridgeport, no matter how much he hated CT.
Phil has always been uncreative, unmotivated, and wants something for nothing. When it comes to throwing middle school slander and ACK ACK ACKing to calling someone a "retard", he thinks it's the funniest thing known to man, like he's Bill Hicks telling the joke about a newscaster reporting a good drug story.
