I don't follow the fighting game scene, does anyone else make this super unced as fuck "people learn moves off the internet" argument that he makes, its so retarded, like he doesn't think people are going to try as hard as they can to win in a competitive game.

The thing is that he used to watch tutorials on how to play characters when he was actively playing the game, so he's literally shitting on people for doing what he used to do lol but genuinely, i don't think anyone else says shit like this because it literally benefits everyone that this info is readily available, he just chose not to partake this time

To be fair, the age of the 50 dentbux goals was just for tips, so he expected a minimum of 50 USD in tips per stream, entirely seperate to members, superchats, and he'd be wheedling his audience into supporting monthly marathon sub/membership goals at the same time. The 150 goal he has now includes all support rolled into one. (And back then he'd still whine and beg if he only got the 50 and pressure his minions to donate for the hat/vest stretch goals @ 100, 150 tip bux too)

This is a pretty funny one to me. The only reason he ever did well at fighting games "back in the day" was because he would find out broken, cheesy tactics that his opponent didn't know yet. The version of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo that he played at EVO was the reason that no actually good players really played that one. It was known to have bugs and cheese strats that they, rightfully so, believed made the version unfit for competitive play. They even used to derisively call him "Throw Like Hell Burnell" because of a go-to cheese tactic of his to just keep pushing people and throwing them over and over. He is upset because he's been trying to do that exact same thing for years and in the age of the internet it doesn't work anymore.

I remember copying down moves from someone's notebook who copied them from someone else. Shit got passed around, especially when mortal Kombat got released on consoles. That was a huge day.
