Modern leftists are unable to compromise their positive bias towards black and brown people and so they have to use mental gymnastics to justify why it's ok for them to discriminate against white people. This kind of thinking is usually justified in their minds as racism towards white people tends to not have as much of a material impact on their lives compared to their black and brown counterparts. You can argue about if that itself is true or not but what can't be denied is that this is retarded logic and dehumanizes people who are privileged or merely look like they are. An additional result is that the respect towards cultures is shifted unevenly; an example I can provide is with closed practices in Native American communities being respected but practices which were meant to be closed in some European communities being forcibly opened with people arguing that it's racist to have closed practices.
