Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

I, and I have a feeling that Trump and Israel, as well, don't really care about these threats anymore.
Especially after they bragged about shelling a civilian apartment complex last night (that resulted in no deaths because they can't aim for shit) as if it were a grand achievement, these threats come off as more and more desperate.
They've already been striking energy centers across the Gulf for the past three weeks. So what? Will they maybe fire six more missiles at each country than usual?
Let's get this shit over with.
Its also not much of a deterrent. Iran is threatening to attack third party countries. So.....how does this affect America and Israel?

If they strike Bushehr - and there was a strike on the complex on Tuesday evening, just not near the reactor - the humanitarian disaster wouldn't be limited to Iran. The likely consequence would be a Fukushima-style discharge if the cooling systems are damaged. This would mean having to take desalination plants offline to avoid radioactive
contamination, and a lot of Gulf states are mostly or exclusively reliant on desalination for their water. Same deal with any sort of refinery that uses sea water for cooling. They've got limited amounts of groundwater, so it'd likely mean water rationing and a serious hit to basically every Arab economy. You'd also have a knock-on impact on fisheries, which aren't massively important but it would destroy some of their culturally important fishing villages. Obviously this would all make the global crisis worse too.

Worst case scenario would be a spent fuel fire, at which point the Gulf is effectively irradiated and would be for months or even years. That's game over. That's hundreds of millions of people in a desert with no drinking water. That's probably the entire Arabian peninsular in a state of collapse... who are then all immediately furious with the USA and Israel, and have nothing left to lose. Also, while they may be able to force some of their slave labor Indians to work in radioactive refineries, you're removing most of the supply from the global economy for quite some time - it'd make 2008 look like child's play.

The very last thing anyone should be doing is sabre-rattling about bombing a nuclear power plant on the Gulf.
Bro; I'm not even thinking your level of "what if". Damn that mind of yours can imagine. Hitting that nuclear facility to cause a meltdown or explosion and release of radioactive elements is beyond bad. My mind can't even go there. You're talking armageddon for the global economy. pure and simple, Total reset shit.

3 weeks into getting buttfucked by the west, Iran announces they will now be "doing tricks on it"

Does someone know how much money Venezuela's oil sector is making right now? I assume the Americans are already investing into it as a safer alternative to the middle east. Even if the oil is lower quality they can sell at a better price due to the strait being a hot zone.
Not much. Their oil sector is a mess. However, if oil stays +100 dollars a barrel for awhile, the US oil corporations are going to make a serious windfall. Which will give them the cash needed to fix Venezuela's oil sector. Which is another thing Iran isn't really thinking about with the Hormuz straight closure. They are fucking over Europe and Asia, but only inconveniencing American's and also giving the American oil sector a massive cash infusion.

So nothing? Fukushima was a psyop. It never happened.
If you say so. If you'd like me to paraphrase, then "if you bomb a nuclear power plant, nuclear things will go in the sea, and then the Arabs can't drink it and they'd get very thirsty and angry because they live in a giant desert with no water".

You are seriously overstating the situation, and are implying that the US needs to bomb the reactors themselves to take the plant off line, and not the transmission facilities.

The thing is, the oil is there but the infrastructure to extract it is going to take time to establish.

The only other trick they have up their sleeve I'm aware of is loading their drones with spent nuclear fuel rods from their reactor and using the interceptor missiles hitting their drones as a dispersal method.
Why what would that do? Military effects would be zero.

There's a reason nobody has exploded a dirty bomb yet, despite it being a plot point in fiction.

Dirty bombs are completely useless. Potentially giving random people cancer in 30 years time doesn't help win the war now.

Sounds based. Why are we waiting?
Ah, let me do the second part of it.
"If the Arabs are all thirsty and angry, they won't make any more things. Those things will then not be around as much, so will get really expensive. Then everyone in America suffers because they need those things and can't afford them, and also they have to give more of their money to Israel to keep away the angry Arabs".

I don't really care at this point. NATO are a bunch of cowards, and the Senate can't even pass an 80-20 election integrity bill.
Seeing the Middle East completely collapse is probably the closest I'm gonna get to a lifelong wish being fulfilled.

Airing out your nihilistic violent fantasies in public to strangers is not any less embarrassing and cringe than airing our your sexual fantasies publicly.

probably because that would be the catalyst for Anti-Western radical Islam becoming an extremely popular idea for a bunch of people who are suddenly living in a real-life apocalypse.

turning an entire region into IRL Mad Max simply because you hate the people in it generally never works out well.
