Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

yeah their installations of silkworm anti-ship launchers are going to be what causes the delay on the straight, we're going to need to get them cleared out before any notion of escorting tankers down the straight can be attempted and hopefully clearing out those installations is a priority right now.
Its also the one situation where I can see US "boots on the ground". Specifically, using the Marines to capture Qeshim Island.

Control of the Island would give the United States unquestioned control over the straight of hormuz. We could then station HIMARS and 155 MM Howitzers on it. The moment any IRGC forces on the mainland decide to shoot so much as as a bottle rocket, they would have counter fire raining high explosive freedom on their heads.

Also, if Iran does fall apart, we can just keep it in perpetuity like Guantanamo bay.

Switch the first and second and you would be correct.

>canada is part of the first world
Back to the drawing board with that one little bro.
Canada is definitely in the third world. America is going to have to turn Ontario and Quebec into reservations for non-native Indians by the turn of the 22nd Century. Its all good though. Toronto will have a roaring industry from their elite human capital in scam call centers and crypto casinos. We will even give native Ontarians access to the bureau of Indian Affairs health care system since they will be literal Indians in need of reservation health care. Ironically it will be better then anything they ever got under Canada.

America has plenty of experience in dealing with unwanted brown people of Indian persuasion living in North America. We are ready and willing to apply our know how to the great white north.

I also hope the Blue Jays move stateside or are just outright dissolved. Their fans are worse than Philly Philth.

Baseball is America's game, and hockey has been confiscated from the Leafs. PPP and Warski can lick my star-spangled nutsack and suck my circumcised bell-end.

People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran target the headquarters of the Khomeini Foundation, a state-run entity engaged in corruption and plundering of public assets, in Chenaran. Cameraman is standing a bit too close for comfort to the explosive.

They have carried out 30 operations in the last few days against regime targets, most of these don't seem to really be too effective but it's the thought that counts. Thread of all of their operations here.

set fire to a regime poster. Brags about it on twitter
That's adorable.
There's your smaller, stabler and more religiously (Christian) homogeneous but still independent Lebanon, folks.
Isn't the issue that those lands can't really sustain themselves? At least they couldn't with an early 20th century economy, maybe in the 21st century it can though. A city is a lot more profitable than farmland nowadays.
