I don't think it's unreasonable for people to not want this. Far from it, actually. Given the context, and history, it's only natural for people to be apprehensive.

What I do find unreasonable are all the people suddenly claiming Iran isn't a dangerous country responsible for much of the world's problems that did desperately need a regime change. That's just bullshit.

Same with all the fags going "post hand", and "muh dead brown people" whenever someone dares suggest the smallest criticism for this shitshow. It's retarded, and makes it look like said fags can't think of an actual good reason this is happening even though there are several, and they're obvious.

It would be very on brand for Iran to put all their resources into upping their missile count, but either don't bother or outright forgetting to increase the number of launchers so they could use them.

Russia: Too busy being stuck in a war of attrition with Ukraine that's entered its 4th year that they expected would be a quick and decisive victory to help out, was also one of the major reasons Assad finally fell.
China: Has their own interests in the ME. They definitely don't want the Iranian regime to outright collapse but are very likely wanting to replace Iran's proxy network with their own.

You're making assumptions. We know that B-52s are being used in strikes against Iran. However, we don't know whether they are launching cruise missiles from long range or dropping glide bombs from around 30 miles away from the target. Both require the same aircraft, but the later implies much more destruction of Iranian air defense than the former.

The explosion in the MI-17 video is likely from a Mikholit guided glide bomb, launched from a Hermes drone. The warhead contains less than 4lbs of HV-10 explosive composition, and depending on the warhead type, it might be blast only with no frag, or a shaped-charge with tungsten cube fragmentation layer.

If the rotors are tied down or locked for maintenance, they wouldn't rotate and the low-quality and short-duration of the video makes it hard to see if they bob initially or not. Look how little this helicopter's rotors move, maybe 2-3 inches of deflection; I don't think you'd be able to see that in the 240p IR video.



I also feel like if it was a decoy, Israel wouldn't have bothered to release the video. It's not like it's hard to tell a 2D painting from a 3D object, parallax would give it away as you fly toward it.
