That is something that looks strange to me as a French. Our Jews are integrated, and are now a part of the right-wing movements here. For example, Eric Zemmour comes from an Algerian Jewish family, and is the one that make the remigration at the front of the political life in the last 15 years.

300k was the last official number from the Shah's time IIRC, 500k is a more modern estimate based on that. Crypto-Baha'i followers can't be really counted just like crypto-Christians/Zoroastrians, since if it were possible to accurately assess their numbers, they wouldn't be very 'crypto' now would they. (And they'd certainly be in mortal danger from the Islamists, since apostatizing from Islam = instant death penalty.) The 1 million+ number & more have been floated for Baha'i in Iran including said hidden faithful, that much I've seen, but they remain strict guesstimates at this time.
