How so? If you're in the US military you are putting your life on the line for us interests. What I'm saying is that if you think the United States is bombing Iran because it wants to do what Israel wants it to do then you're an idiot. Allies are allies because they have interests that align. Both the United States and Israel want to see Iran gone. The United States and Israel are the two most powerful Air forces in the region.
It's short-sighted and really stupid if you think that the United States is currently bombing Iran because Israel wants it to. It's bombing Iran because for the last 40 years the Iranians have been screaming death to America and killing our troops whenever they can. They've also been funding proxy groups which actively kill Americans, and seek to turn the United States into effectively what Canada is when it comes to the world stage.
The United States has told Israel to go fuck itself in the past and it will continue to do it when interests do not align.
Come on, think a little bit and be a little bit rational here. I know it's easy to /pol/ post, but there's a reason why /pol/ is filled with niggers.

In my opinion the best option would be to eliminate regime's stooges - physically eliminate them, because otherwise they will keep causing problems - and install the shah if only he has enough popular support to avoid rebellion \ civil war. Also give Kurds some scrap of land \ autonomous region because they sure deserved it fighting ISIS and Islamic Republic.
I believe that this can work because Iranians \ Persians, unlike other countries in the region, have their own history and culture outside of Islam and in the past have proven that they can form a normal functioning nation. Afghanistan, Iraq and countries participating in the Arab Spring didn't have anything to fall back to, Iranians have.
Iran has the first all-submarine navy.

We're pretty much at that aggrevating point in any conflict where the enemy has lost 80% or more of its resources, but it has just enough launchers and drones still working to continue to be a thorn in the side, especially since it forces everyone to wait hours at a time for it to launch some piddly firecracker that either gets shot down or does superficial damage to an empty building.

Generally, I agree with you that defeating Iran is in the national interest of the United States, and certainly no Westerner with their head screwed on would be supporting an Islamic, anti-American government or nation in any circumstances.
Your post seemed to betray the sense of superiority and smugness which really rankles many conservative Americans who aren't steeped in evangelical support of Israel. US Marines are not willing and able to die for Israel, they are sworn to uphold our nation's Constitution, which frankly has been degraded tremendously in recent decades, along with defeating the enemies of the United States. It so happens that American enemies are the same as Israeli enemies, broadly speaking, and many Americans are happy to see your people (I'm assuming you're Israeli based on seeing many of your posts) defeat Islamic Iran. However, you should be aware that we are counting our casualties in the Middle East, and it would be easy for crass statements by Israelis to further erode the already fragile support for Israel in the good old USA.
