Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

US/Israeli air strikes have begun in Tehran.

China denies they will send Iran supersonic anti-ship missiles.

I'm actually not sure why we're not dropping small arms and ammunition in every residential neighborhood in Iran. Please call me retarded if it's necessary. I'm just curious.
I hope that's the plan eventually, but it's not surprising they didn't start with that. Probably every ton of freight capacity in the Armed Forces is booked right now, carrying munitions, ammo, and fuel to the region.

If I was armchair general, I'd wait to do supply drops until they established contact with a viable resistance group on the ground. Otherwise, they risk having the materiel captured by Iranian regime forces, who know better than the people where enemy planes are going and dropping things. The US started hitting the internal police headquarters yesterday (I think), so those internal ground forces weren't neutralized yet. The missiles and air defense are obviously the priority targets.

Once somebody judges the police are incapacitated, then you contact a resistance group, let them know where to wait, and try out a weapon drop. It's also better to wait until air superiority is so well established that you aren't risking your unarmed cargo planes.

We've been getting little bits of information on the administration's attempts to talk to and foment ground revolution. They've actually been remarkably open, compared to the normal rigorous opsec these things usually entail. I suspect this flows from Trump himself loving to talk about everything (and being unable to shut up about the details he finds interesting). Assuming we aren't being gaslit, it sounds like the ground comms aren't frequent, the Next Guy hasn't been picked, and the situation isn't stable enough yet.

False flag operation?
These faulty launches happen, there's footage of the same thing happening to Russian launchers early in the invasion I think.
Considering some of these Iranian missiles could have the same DNA as Russian ones, just like many muslim spouses do, it's actually not that surprising.

ust reflecting on how those people must think when going into these regions "Im an American, they dont dare attack me cause my country wont stand for an American to be killed"
Does any American still think that way? We've had 9/11, Nick Berg, the Fallujah lynchings, ISIS..... seems more likely they would be thinking "the people in this region hate and want to murder me".

Its more of a volume issue not some kind of technology deficiency. Air defense systems have a "magazine" of sorts so they can only launch so many interceptors before they have to be reloaded. If your enemy doesn't care about conserving ammo they can simply choose to overwhelm a particular launcher. A common tactic is to swarm an individual point with low cost drones, forcing the system to deplete its ammo, and then ram an IRBM through. Its estimated that Iran had 1500-2000 ballistic missles left at the start of the war. Iran can choose to guarantee casualties by launching way, way too many weapons for one target. This kind of attack will likely decrease as they deplete their stockpiles and lose coordination abilities
That's assuming Iran has the launch capacity necessary for any attack in force now. If the latest reports are correct they are down to a hundred or so TELs and launch systems which precludes the option, and given the trickle of drones coming out they lack even the ability to overwhelm with a mass drone strike. All of that is before considering how thoroughly decapitated their command structure is.

Iran shuts down the Straight of Hormuz for real this time.
With what? Lol.
What navy?! Have you been following the news?
Realisticly, the verbal threat alone is probably doing the work. I heard beforehand that ships were already skiddish to cross, and nobody outside of war intelligence really knows the complete status of Iran's navy and other offensive capabilities. Maybe the Straight has mines. Maybe Iran has a secret battleship.

If you captained a cargo ship, would you cross the Straight of Hormuz at this time?

BTW dont know why this isent getting more attention but Iran struck one of the 10 DoD special requisition tankers for the conveyance of critically needed resources 1 person on baord is already dead.

Just reflecting on how those people must think when going into these regions "Im an American, they dont dare attack me cause my country wont stand for an American to be killed" and its not even on ANYONES radar, its like a hyper obscure fact and honestly playing second fiddle to the multiple airbases being struck.

straigh of Hormuz being closed makes this all that much spicier

The US tanker in question was in a civilian drydock. The person killed was a dockyard worker.

i really don’t get why you wanna suck the Jews fucking dicks so much,
Jews won't cut your head off for looking at them funny.
like imagine thinking Muslims would be a problem if they were gated off from the west, the Jews use economic warfare, muslims can be deported, Jews gotta go to hell
The Caliphate spread across half the known world centuries after Hadrian sacked Jersualem and scattered the Jews to the winds. They are more than capable of spreading their death cult without being enabled.

And yet here you are, believing ingratiating yourself to them will get you White Sharia.

But I thought BRICS was this super tight group who were gonna bring an end to the US!

Really though, if anything, China is probably hopeful Iran comes out weakened but not totally regime collapsed by the end of this, because that would open up a power vacuum to install their own proxies within the Axis of Resistance sphere.

I have made a poost addressing this and have only added an edit because of yours, realizing that normies are unaware of the racial demographics among shipworker lol.

To enlighten the kiwis it is VERY unlikely for a shipworker to be American but rather it’s someone from a third world country like India.

My country has been dragged into one too many wars for American Imperial interests, The American Empire is the scorpion, Europe is the frog. It will be a good thing actually if we detach ourselves entirely from Washington.

Call me a commie all you want you miserable NAFO/Neo-con, kike loving, philistine worshipping, cock sucking faggot - it won't bring back your foreskin. Nor will it be the Zased crusade you want, all it will do, as does all American policy result in more terror cells, the death of even more Whites and more enemies wanting you dead. But at least you killed some browns, at least you owned some libs.
There really should be a /chug/- /uhg/ style thread split. Wasting time on people who will do mental cartwheels for this regime who'll celebrate the deaths of hundreds of little girls and cry over 5 dead Zogbots.
Lol, nobody asked Europe because Europe can't even field a globe-spanning military. I'm not going to call you a commie because even commies had balls back in the day. Europe is just a eunuch in America's court, and not even the most influential one either.

they already canceled everyone war insurance. fucking insurance is such a scam, they will happily sell you war insurance then cancel it when a war breaks out as an "act of God"
Technically the policies are only if you get caught in a war by surprise. I.E, you are sitting a harbor and then that harbor gets bombed the moment a war is declared. You dont get coverage if you sail into an active war zone knowing it's ongoing.

its striking a US flagged ship, ill remind the entire thread 1 of the 2 reasons we HAVE a navy to begin with its to protect our overseas shipping lanes.

Im just saying its an escalation.
