I work in a factory. It’s already somewhat automated, but it’s not economically efficient to replace people with whatever chinkshit robots you watch Ai Twitter videos about because the guy who has to fix and recalibrate them shits makes a fuck ton more than I do

almost like we are in the paleolithic stages of AI, in a century or so, the robots will be calibrating themselves, repairing themselves, etc to the point the only human input is based on material need/want.

this is the biggest flaw i've noticed with like, on the ground communists. most of them do not conceptualize that they will, in vast quantities, be shipped to rare earth mineral mines that destroy that heckin' natural beauty they love so much, because in their 'communist utopia' we are going to have to aggressively pursue every single avenue of resource obtainment possible for humanity, since we'll need to freely and with no cost share every single thing with every single other person.

this is actually where lots of commies start splintering from each other, in how you handle the post-communist takeover and decentralization. do you have groups trading resources so that things are kept even? do you force people to give up the resources they need if they have more, even if they have plans for those resources in th future, because another commune needs oranges or whatever it is?

there's no answer for how you equitably distribute resources, because by taking resources from one group you are ALWAYS causing them some kind of tangible harm, even if it just means they now have to do even more work to prepare. how do cities in communist utopias build their stores of supplies up? having extra of something is unfair, after all, and i know actual commies who advocate for kulak level treatment where you simply kill everyone who stockpiles anything, even if it was their own food they got from the ration tickets.

that's another fun one is that commies never have an answer for how we'll handle confirmation of labor without money, which they literally always suggest fixing by replacing money with... money. work vouchers that show how long you worked, and entitle you to the fruits of that labor. which is just fucking money.

Equitable distribution of resources is inherently inefficient and points out the underlying reason why gommunism is nothing but a demonstration of economic illiteracy.

1) with no price, there is no method for valuation of resources
2) with no valuation of resources, they cannot be effectively allocated
3) if resources are not effectively allocated this causes widespread market inefficiencies
4) widespread inefficiencies lead to shortages
5) this causes blackmarkets, breadlines and mass starvation

If we move beyond the theoretical, this is observable in literally every instance of gommunism being implemented
