Somalia literally has no fucking country. They're run by drug lords and pirates, but apparently, it's racist to point this out. Both Ilhan Omar and Rashida Talib shouldn't even be members of Congress (as they weren't born here in the US or have lived long enough in the country to be qualified for such a position). Hell, they shouldn't even be here in the country to fucking begin with. I'm sick of both of them.

As much as I love how savage Trump is and how entertaining shitshow politics is, deep in my heart I just want a return to civility where heckling during the SOTU is seen as uncouth and not done.
I don't. I want heckling during the SOTU to be punishable by summary execution on the spot by the sergeant-at-arms. You're listening to the leader of the free world speak in the great hall of the Legislature. Even being physically present is a privilege few humans will ever experience. You can shut the fuck up like a fucking adult for three hours if you disagree with something you hear. Or you can be shot, for all I care.

The media is fact checking Trump's speech:

Fuck man even if they're baiting into a "yeah but really it's not 100% true and/or Trump isn't actually responsible WE PROMISE TRUMP BAD!" article with that lede it must have deeply, brutally hurt whatever liberal dipshit is in charge of typing it into the official twitter computer at their office. :story:

LOL dis bitch asking if people are better off than they were 4 years ago and safer...thinking they would say "no"

smh

The Democrat Rebuttal

Because people have short memories especially for hard numbers.

2021 to 2022 had 7.48% inflation. 2022 to 2023 had 6.41% inflation. 2025 to 2026 has had 2.39% inflation. Over Biden's full term (Jan 2021 to Jan 2025) we saw 17.9% increase in cost of living. Over Trump's full term (Jan 2017 to Jan 2021) we saw 7.72% increase in cost of living.. And if Trump's inflation over the past year is maintained over the full 4 we will see a 9.9% increase.

For all intents, inflation is a one way street. Biden and the Fed while he was President allowed double the rate of inflation we should have expected over his presidency. The Fed refused to raise interest rates when inflation was clearly out of control just when it so happened to massively benefit Biden's key legislative goals by massively reducing their projected cost.

Every honest person can tell if they were better off 4 years ago or not.

We've won so much tonight all fatpacks can post is some literally who twitter rumor.
Enjoy the SOTU Buddy?
Don’t worry, the Fraternal Association of Trump Pessimists Always Committed to Kill Support may slow down, but they will never stop. They will never quit. They will always doom. Until everyone does.

Interested in seeing how that rate payer protection pledge for datacenters pans out. The increase in electricity cost for anyone unfortunate enough to live in a state they love pumping full of those fucking things has been a huge problem. Techbros don't give a shit and will burn infinity money and resources for convenience (just buy a bigger aws ec2 instance bro just negotiate a new AI contract where we get more tokens bro) so I hope whatever he is doing to incentivize this works
