The secret is that if you glue a cute patch to a magnet, it becomes a cute magnet that you can put on the fridge. This also works with stickers but without the glue.
Yeah! I've also done this. Got like 300 magnets from china so patches and cards turned into instant magnets for the fridge and stuff.

That's a pretty cool idea, but wouldn't they get deteriorated over time from cooking? Usually fridge magnets are plastic for a reason. I imagine the patch thread/fabric would be affected by warm food vapours and retain smells?
Still, could make some kind of metallic framed display board and stick patches on that with magnets for easy swapping. Or stick em to your PC case with magnets!

I don't know. But I do know that when patches are on clothes, they get washed and that wears them out. Or on backpack\bags and such, they wear out. Things wear out, nothing is permanent.

re: the MATI shop, there is an issue with the shipper. All pending orders will go out once I can fix it.

I've been a good little paypig for a few months now but I still haven't received my complimentary cheese wheel. Is this a bug?

Nice to see the patches and shirt back from inventory - luckily I found mine that I thought I lost on a trip under a bunch of jackets draped over the back of a chair.

My SO let me affix an "Exceptional Individual" patch on his wide-brimmed straw hat he wears around car shows in the summer. I'm not quite sure he understands the joke but I surely find it amusing.

I am DYING for some more sweatshirts like the Halloween run of '24, they are the only ones long enough for my torso so when I sleep, my lower back isn't exposed. Can we please have another Halloween run this year?

Here is something odd, my bank tells me when they cut the check, but does not tell me when or if it was cashed. They removed the $20 from my account but I have no confirmation that Jersh received it. If my gold hasn't posted by the weekend, I'm going to have to call them and see if I can get some tracking information. I do not trust my bank to return my $20 if the recipient does not actually receive the payment.

Every day I hate banks a little more. You'd think at some point they'd bottom out, but sure as shit they keep finding a way to make everybody's life just a little bit harder.

it cashes when the depositing institution receives it.
Naw I just got too much time on my hands and I'm looking for a reason to bitch about my bank. On the plus side, the banking app shows my credit score is finally above 820. Time to go fuck it up with a foray into timeshare speculation!

Setting up billpay and making regular payments through my checking account has raised my good goy points (credit score)

the patches are SO cute, now i have to find something on which to sew them, but not sure. i dont own any actual jackets, just wool coats/capes, which wouldnt work.
i would pay a decent price. for a cute pastel pink/lilac womens shirt with the kiwi bird with flowers, though. was gonna say the book one, because i love to read, until i saw the names of some of them
That's great you know how to sew! Maybe you'll stumble upon the perfect jacket randomly. I plan on putting them into a little shadowbox. I'm thinking about gluing some dark fabric (maybe green!) on the inside of the shadow box, and then putting velcro pieces over that and on the back of the patches in case I decide I want to put one on something later.

the board of investors has become highly... autistic.
Then it’s as usual, exceptional individuals all.

Interesting article, audubon didn’t miss with it.
