For better or worse, Bad Bunny is a big deal. A few years ago, when Jennifer Lopez and Shakira were performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, the miggers weren't chimping out nearly as much. Even though IMO, Shakira (and J Lo to a lesse extent) sing much better in Spanish than English.

I haven't watched the superbowl for a couple of years now, and even when I would, it would be with friends and we'd mostly use it as an excuse to get drunk and catch up with each other. Hell, sometimes we'd even change the channel or turn the TV off just to talk or play vidya or whatever.
So can someone explain why everyone is losing their minds over Bad Bunny? Is it JUST because he's latino? Or did he have some socio-political takes on Trump/Israel-Palestine/the US economy/capitalism/etc. that made him "worthy" of their "two minutes hate"? Or take the position from some more "deserving artist" based off "diversity" or some shit?
Cause when the Babylon Bee is making this kinda "joke"

The best thing society can do is bring back mockery. This is the end result of giving every fucking kid a trophy, telling everyone their opinion was special, you just end up creating more emotionally fragile narcissists who seek to shape society in order to protect their fee-fees. Take away the taboo about hurting someone's feelings, make mockery fun and acceptable, and these people will (for the most part) melt into the wood work. No one wants to be the butt of the joke, so make people who are stepping out of line the perpetual butt of the joke.
It's why miggers mald that this thread exists. It has nothing to do with the fact that people disagree, because if people disagreed with hatred it legitimizes them. It is the mocking that gets people, the fact that they're not being taken seriously, and they're being made fun of.
Look at what the Karen meme has done to middle-aged soccer mums. Drop an "OK Boomer" with an eyeroll when you get a boomer relative telling you how the world works. Ridicule and mockery hurts people more than any argument, it robs them of legitimacy and should be more openly used.

It was in spanish and I think he's talked about the ICE stuff being bad the same way most famous people have also said.
Thing is a lot of Spanish speakers have been joking about how they also can't understand anything Bad Bunny says (because it's all mumbly or the lisp makes him incomprehensible). So in a way, everyone got to be united across the country in not getting to understand the guy.

That is the most inoffensive comment the stylist made. It can mean anything, the stuff happening here, Ukraine, Gaza, NK, hence her mentioning the world. It’s a very open ended question that allows a person in a service/sales/etc position start a conversation but let the customer decide what it’s about.
Faggy snowflake could have been like “yes it’s insane that our poor ICE officers are being demonized!” and I bet stylist would just go along. Because that’s what you do in a job like that, you make the customer comfortable and so they will tip you and come back. In my sales job, the amount of times I smiled and nodded at a MAGAt idiot only because I knew I was gonna get money from them.
MAGAts are too thin skinned for life. Imagine being triggered by “how are you?”
This is the main point ICE critics are making: if they’re not required to identify themselves or wear a badge, how do we know who is actually ICE? This isn’t a new thing, impersonating law enforcement has been popular with rapists and murders for decades. It’s just now law enforcement is making it way easier for them.
