I think Street Fighter will be more important because they rebooted Mortal Kombat in 2021 and that movie wasn't very good and this one is a sequel to that.
Meanwhile, SF had a movie in 1994 and it had zero street fighting in it.
People don't even treat it as a SF movie.
This will be the first proper one.

One of my core beliefs ever since childhood because I didn't have a super nintendo is that Mortal Kombat is COOL and RAD, while Street Fighter is for NERDS and LOSERS so I am pledging my vote to Mortal Kombat.

I despise both, but the Mortal Kombat movies tend to be more faith to the source material unlike street fighter. The new Street Fighter movie looks like a cartoon.

That ruins the entire fight.
Also, the whole concept of them just getting magic tattoos which give them superpowers... who came up with that garbage?
Why not have magic just be part of the world that people can learn?
