No, he actually tends to own and operate the devices he talks about; at least in what I've seen, I haven't watched him in a while. I'm pretty sure @Null has talked about watching his (Technology Connections) stuff. He's autistic about consumer technology and its history, he's made some good videos, and he is pretty sincerely a Democrat. It makes a lot of sense that he would be that kind of technocrat who believes that the preferences of scientists and academics can be substituted for political debate as they are objective and unbiased. He probably subconsciously thanks God every day that leftist academics bulverize and falsify research to provide cover for blank-slatist beliefs so he has an excuse not to consider racial science. Anyway, you could always sense this worldview in the background when he would start to discuss policy around technology, but it's a shame that he has started doing political rants.
