Anti ICE protest at the corner of the main roads near where I work. Looks mostly like high school(?) kids. They're just standing on the sidewalks waving banners and shouting. So, orderly.

Closest thing to disruption is they trigger the pedestrian lights and run across, so red lights last a few seconds longer than normal.

I'd post a picture but that would power level me.

Wonder if ICE did show up how many would get scooped up.
If this is anywhere near the base of Avery in Mission Viejo, we either saw the same protest or this is organized in multiple places.

Edit: I drove by a couple other high schools in the area and it seemed to pretty much be local around there. The college is right up the hill but everyone there looks too young to be in college. Only one sheriff car behind the tire place too. This is probably the most peaceful protest I have seen in years, unironically.

Don Lemon and his lawyers are going to make a fucking GENERATIONAL amount of money off of the settlement for this lawfare bullshit. :story: :story: :story:

This case was so fucking weak that it got thrown out THREE TIMES.

I'd make a point about how totalitarian it is for the President to actively weaponize the DOJ a journalist he and his followers have a personal grudge with, over him simply reporting on a protest he had no evidence in organizing, but the sheer incompetence and desperation on display makes it too fucking pathetic to be intimidating.

They also arrested another local reporter, Georgia Fort, for the same bullshit charge. Unlike Don, she has kids and luckily for her, the Trump administration just volunteered to put those kids through college.

It's a shame that the taxpayer is going to have to foot the bill for Trump & Co.'s failing revenge tour though. None of his other attempts have worked, and this one isn't going to be any different.
Don't be so sure, rumor has it that Don Lemon is incredibly depressed and has decided to commit suicide in his cell.

I think you should look into how Obama treated journalists he didn’t like and how it worked out for him.

Forumla 1 isn't even fun to watch as it is currently. The reason Monaco is a snoozefest is because of the safety regulations. The cars are too wide now to pass and overtake on turns and theres only 1-2 spots where you can even attempt now. The starting position defines where you'll place these days. Theres more excitement in the risk.
at least in NASCAR the cars aren't so fragile that they disentigrate at the slightest bump. A NASCAR stock car can bump and ride the wall to get pass. NASCAR road circuit races are actually fun to watch.

They'll fund Trump's library and church. Also those kids will be more likely to hate their mom for doing retarded shit.

Nascar road racing used to be exciting because taking heavy stock cars onto road courses created some hectic racing, now with the next generation car being basically an imsa car, they have been pretty lackluster, and now pretty much a guaranteed svg win.

@Neil What is your take on the church protest?
The protest itself is about as legal/justified as ICE breaking into Latino churches and arresting people. They had about as much of a legal right to be there as Nick Shirley and his crew think they do when they go from daycare to daycare demanding to see other people's children.

Don Lemon and Georgia Fort filming coverage of a public protest happening in a church (which he was on the other side of the room from), however, isn't a crime. The only reason they were even arrested is so Trump and his fans can get a small hit of dopamine off of the headline "BLACK PEOPLE ARRESTED AND CHARGED UNDER KKK ACT" and "DON LEMON ARRESTED", even though the case will go nowhere.
He was an active participant and actively KNEW what the group was going to do before the event was going to happen.
He's a journalist who was filming the protest. It doesn't matter whether or not he knew the protest was going to happen, reporting on it is as much of a crime as the people in the pews recording videos of the event (which is to say, neither are illegal).
Likely being friends with the organizer.
No evidence of that.
He was harassing a pastor (apparently the pastor that was allegedly an ICE agent wasn't even there that day), and many of the congregation.
He was interviewing the church staff.
He mocked children running in fear from these paid agitators. "I know they're scared, but they'll thank us later" type shit.
He made an observation about the families leaving the church and the obvious discomfort that protest causes. No evidence whatsoever the protestors were paid.

Fatpacks is truly one of the most powerful wizards I have ever seen. His portents of doom change the very reality of the world and got Bondi to actually do something. The only wizard that was more powerful was Cobes, his circle of protection deflected that bullet away from Trump and kept the farms from going down after all.
