India appears to be willing to play both sides much like China has with their own deals with Russia. If outsourcing is to be maintained in American economics, splitting up manufacturing amongst the different countries of Southeast Asia seems like a safer strategic bet then either relying on India or China for much.
Yeah, diversity is a safer bet. But I think there’s a little ruffle in the whole thing, which is that shipping all this massive manufacturing capacity from one shitty third world country to another is going to cause a little bit of chaos, which creates even a tiny bit more incentive to reshore some pieces

Slaves weren't allowed to drink, Irish were.
Although it was probably more relevant in central and south America where most of the slaves ended up going anyway, a big reason for using black slaves over others was their relative hardiness to new-world diseases; it made them hold up better in the field.

This isn’t apropos of anything you guys are talking about, but it’s pretty crazy we’re going back to the moon in like a week from now.
My kinda dead thread on it for techies

I think the media on this will 'take off' a few days before.

It's only a lunar flyby but it's better then nothing. Hopefully the reentering Earth's atmosphere at a record speed of approximately 25,000 miles per hour goes well. I expect the "first person of color, the first woman, and the first non-American to travel around the Moon" portions of the missions to generate some talk amongst the media.

If you’re in a situation where you have to outsource, the only smart way to do it is to fully decentralize production. Instead of sending 100% to China, send 33% to three different countries.

That said, fuck outsourcing!

The 10-day mission will carry four astronauts—Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen—aboard the Orion spacecraft using the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket.

A woman will orbit the moon before a woman touched Joshua Moon.

Look, do you want null to go full lowtax? That's uncalled for.

He wasn't there by accident, he was violent during a protest, was arrested for that, tried to resist the arrest and to grab his gun while being arrested. Cry as much as you want, he deserved.
Stop using the word "protest" when that's not what this was. He was part of a group that tracked ICE/BP performing lawful duties and showed up to violently impede their operations.

"Donald Trump killed 4 Astronauts" is going to be one hell of a headline. Especially when we learn some aspect of NASA is directly related to one of his buddies like Elon Musk.

threadbanned for a week
People seriously believe you "should just leave it at home" if you expect a police officer to be around at some point over the course of your day.
I don't think he should have left it at home, I think maybe he should have stuck up his ass for all the good it did.

He should have pulled it and went to work, at least then he could have maybe killed one of them and not die like a retarded, useless bitch. If you go to a protest I encourage you to openly carry, I encourage you to square off with them too, maybe spit on them as well.
