I'm gonna add to this to say to any TES morons lurking: you probably pay something around ~20% in taxes. One fifth of every penny you make goes to the federal and state governments in exchange for the protection provided by the nation's military, your cops, the right to vote, public assistance, and much more. They get it for fucking free, and they get to have a say in how your city, state, and country is run. For fucking free. Some people think America was borne out of a hatred for taxes themselves, when in reality it was more like "we hate that we pay tax in exchange for no say in what the government does". You've probably heard 'no taxation without representation'.
If Democrats want to prove to me they are serious about supporting labor rights, and want affordability, they would support mass deportations. The reality of deportations “looking mean” is not persuasive enough for me to forgo borders and a constitution that only grants rights to citizens. The fact we even entertain immigration lawyers helping illegals get due process on occasion is far more generous than what other countries offer.

I think the point is its mush, unoffensive texture and flavor for the picky eaters. Sort of like chicken nuggets for poor whites, but for backwards countries. Personally, the only good processed food prep for bananas is smoothies and bread.
We want homogenous societies, not a homogenous world. Even having a goatfucker country in bumfuck nowheere is important, so goatfuckers can go fuck goats over there instead of killing people for the right to fuck goats over here. Hell, I'd argue the constant state of preindustrial low level warfare was preferrable, it forced all these homogeneous societies to adopt ideas that worked, or die off entirely, while also giving the permanently violent part of civilization something to focus on.
