Hmm turns out that even old Joe Biden was curious about how Illhan Omar got rich so fast. In 2023 the Biden DoJ launched an investigation in Omar's finances but according to the records it was stopped after only a few weeks for "lack of evidence". Hmmmm yah nothing sus at all there.

Probably the DoJ investigators came across the Somali fraud ring and was told to shut it down before shit leaked as we now know much of that fraud end up in the DNC pockets.
Now Comey is getting involved as part of the Somali fraud investigations and he's getting grumpy all because Omar simple will not answer one question.

That's it. But Omar has refused to come to the hearings and refused to answer and letter sent to her office. So now Comey is getting subpeona to force Omar to answer before the ethics comittee.
Omar's last filings show a massive boost to almost $30 million in net worth over the last 2 year period, up from a mere 205k in 2019.

Also starting to leak into the news is a older case filed by the National Legal and Policy Centre (a conservative watchdog NGO) in 2019 about the large payments Omar's campaign made to a group called the E Street Group which was, shockingly, run by her then boyfriend and now husband. All these payments were made wholesale and without invoices or records kept by Omar's campaign which is a major no no.
Millions in campaign costs were billed by this group and paid out, without invoices or records mind you, over the course of the last 5 years. NLPC issued a FEC request for documents but Omar's campaign never handed anything over and to everyone shock (kidding, no one was surprised when the Biden guy at the FEC did nothing)) the FEC dismissed the complaint without investigating.

Lastly Omar's new husband's ex-wife is suing them for...well lots of things. It's a messy divorce but in the filings the ex-wife is claiming she has knowledge of how Ilhan paid for her then husband' travel so they could "hook up" while she travelling and billed it all to the campaign and I would assume that money ended up back in the pockets of the E Street Group which means in the end that campaign money ended up in Omar's pockets. She's also making a lot of accusations but I would take those with a grain of salt, she's really pissed as her hubby dumping her and his family to go chase some low IQ Somali tail.
TLDR: Omar was using her campaign funds for booty calls, travel and everything else. All while billing to to her soon to be husband's company that actually did nothing so all that money ended up in her pockets. It's called double dipping and it's 100% fraud. If Comey can get proof Omar is in a world of trouble and this time there is no Biden drones to step in and kill the investiation.
