Imagine how little things would cost in general if you weren't paying for those gorillion freeloaders. Part of it is politicians et al. treating the economy like a big Jenga puzzle, another is them using it as a pump. As Walz showed, every time fraud or "redistribution" happens, they get a cut. So not only is there cheap labor that'd do anything to stay in the country, every time that cheap labor spends taxpayer money, be it sales or benefits, that's more money going to politicians on top of displacing citizens. Win-win-win as far as they're concerned.
