There's an old joke I heard as a little girl, from way before I was born, that goes something like this:

What a knee-slapper.....I would have said in 1984. I'm pretty sure this was part of every comedy routine in 1992 as well and the sad fact is that this bitch is not old (under 30, at the very least), she should be aware that these tropes have been beaten to death before she was even born.
I can understand your fascination with CaptProlactin because her 2025 art is a mish mash of past trends:

• 2013 Tumblr art
• 2012-2014 feminist politics and storylines
• 1990's observational humor
• 2004 opression olympic stances (how gays are the most persecuted class on earth, etc

I want to compare this to the Blobfish comic but blobby is made by commitee so it makes sense that by they time it updates it's not aligned with the current trends. CaptProlactin is technically competent but she has very clearly reached her ceiling, she is incapable of having an original idea or having a unique spin on an existing one. Great footsoldier, atrocious commander.

Here's a tangential rant but I'll post it anyways. At the moment we are living in a moment when Fatigue is starting to sink in and the average joe just doesn't consoooom the same way they did before. The Normie realizes that all the tropes of the past 20 years are boring, stale and predictable so if there's nothing to watch he just won't watch at all. I don't believe there is a grand conspiracy behind it all, I just think it's momentum + upping the ante (we're having the first gay kiss on screen! Oh really? we'll have the first gay couple as mainstay characters! Oh really, we'll have the first interracial gay couple with adopted children! oh really? well...). But we really are living in a time when cltural preferences are changing so it's fascinating seeing the big studio projects (the ones that started being made in 2022/2023 and are only being released now) suddenly being faced with a diminishing ROI. For example, remember the Barbie movie? no one batted an eye when the movie stopped for 5 minutes and one of the characters had to look at the screen and rant for 5 minutes about female opression. That was 2023 and I'm sure CapProlactin was clapping like a seal in theaters. Imagine what would happen if a speech like that was on screen in 2026? It would be mocked to hell and back for being too over the top. That's what I mean.
Her princess comics are not only late to the game, they are late to the game her own side is playing but she keeps on keeping on, pretending that tumblr feminism is the vanguard of the revolution.
