It’s why I view Newsom as the top neoliberal pick because he knows how to not come across as a bloodthirsty warmonger corporatist like Hillary often does.

The best part about him is that he's what I like to call an "anti-politician". He doesn't beat around the bush (unless it's with Usha, hubba hubba), he tells the truth, he doesn't have to tear down people to make his point, and he rarely gets angry or takes the bait.
I actually WANT it to be Newsom because there's something so cinematic and it just feels correct to watch a presidential election that really would be good versus evil, light versus dark, pro America versus anti America.
Newsome vs Vance would be an insane campaign to watch, and the debates would be amazing.
