They've cut government things that are pretty damn important, like the NWS.
NWS was not cut, merely reduced in size, which I suspect is less of an issue that it might have been 10 years ago due to advances in technology. Things that needed to be totally axed, like USAID and CRS have thankfully received the neccesary total cut.
Should we not cut any government beaurocracies?
They vote to make the rich even richer, at their own expense.
That is a very vague and inflammatory accusation. I can't really respond to that without more specifics.
They want to gut education.
Also vague and inflammatory. What I do know in specifics here is a desire to cut the DOE and transfer its duties else, both as a cost reduction measure, and to return more power over education concerns to the state level rather than federal level.
Do you prefer that power to remain centralized with the federal government?
They're racist and want people who aren't white to be punished.
Should people who aren't white not be punished? Should Decarlos Brown Jr. not be punished? Should Sebastian Zapeta-Calil not be punished? Should Harjinder Singh not be punished? Are the FBI crime stats all incorrect and racist?
They are bad for the economy and are alienating the US with our allies through the world.
If you're meaning Europe, I would remind you that of our 32 NATO allies, only 1/3 of them meet their gdp spending requirements, and all of them heavily tariff American products that threaten their domestic industries. If you're meaning Canada, that was driven heavily by Canada refusing to police their border more to help stop Fent trafficking. If you're meaning Mexico, they are giving the same problem, just magnified substantially. I would agree that alienating Japan is rude and unnecessary, though I don't think they've been all that alienated.
Should any of those allies not aquies to the requests/demands made of them?
They want tariffs, which cause inflation.
I haven't seen that yet, but I'll admit I dont pay attention either.
Then there's the weird thing where they will flip-flop on an issue on the whims of their cult leader Donald Trump.
Thats all political personalities. He who is without sin, throw the first stone.
Now your turn to answer a question
Alright.
Don't you think it's weird how MAGA, including people in this very thread, went from "RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!" to "DON'T RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!"
I don't particularly remeber that being the way things went. In fact in this thread I remember A LOT of people bashing Trump hard for not releasing them, and getting pretty mad about it in general. People were upset with Bondi too for her part in the matter iirc.
"NO FOREIGN WARS!" to "FOREIGN WARS ARE GOOD!"
I will say I do think MAGA has become less anti-interventionist than it was originally, though in both cases that I can think of, the operations were short, and in the case of Solemani, just a drone strike. I'd hesitate to call either case a "Foreign War" though they are certainly interventionist, and in the case of Solemani I'm still unsure if that was truly neccesary for us to be involved with.
