The Republicans effectively dismantled the USPS machines to steal the election; some Trump-appointed postmaster at the helm (black guy, I think) was facilitating the destruction of big sorting machines. I assume it was related to mail-in ballots.
literal projection. not even a single lawsuit filed about it. what actually happened in '24 though was that georgia's mail in ballots were being authenticated with no oversight and no signatures, so THEY definitely did perpetrate at least voting fraud in 2024. remember that the fraud was over 100,000 (much over but you'll see that's technically irrelevant), and trump only lost georgia by 30,000ish. they literally stole the state OPENLY.
Did Trump/GOP ever talk about dismantling/privatizing the USPS because it "loses money?" I thought it was a constitutionally guaranteed service (which doesn't lose money, but costs money), but remember some shit about an unheard of demand to pre-fund like 75 years of retirees benefits or somethig.
only the most vague of 'i wonder if a private company could do it better' tweets and a statement that private mail doesn't have the delays that the USPS does. it is not being dismantled or removed, and no republicans have so far put forth any kind of reasonable proposal to do so into legislation, nor has trump hinted he might with EOs.
Was there ever actually any evidence the election was stolen? I know they had a bunch of court cases and remember them all being embarrassing Ls, such as that drunk lady.
this one i'm not 100% certain on, but we did get proof of election fraud in 2025 for the 2024 elections, and biden's numbers between 2020 and 2024 don't actually match up with what happened. not to mention that biden's spikes all came from mysterious late night or post-election mail in votes which were 'found' in many different places or 'delayed until such time as they arrived'. it was EXTREMELY suspect, and because of that, many people WANTED to investigate. if you recall, they spent several years of biden's admin trying to punish anyone who began looking for voter fraud, instead of doing open investigations to prove themselves innocent by a third or even fourth party.
