Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

I don't buy the regime line of everything going back to normal, but I also think the movement is rapidly losing steam, and the window where decisive action from the US and co. could cause the collapse of the regime is rapidly closing or has already passed. You don't win revolutions by having tens of thousands of people get shot to death in the streets, you win by having the military refuse to keep shooting people, and they obviously have not refused to stop shooting people, and at this point aren't going to.

The problem is that this "48-hour" blackout is making it seem like nothings happening anymore. Notice that when the videos were coming out, it gained a lot of attention and steam. I think MES is coping and the protests are continuing, but I think that we are reaching a tipping point.

The viewcount of Pahlavi's Insta reels collapsed from the 35-90 million range to 5-6 mil after the Internet blackout was imposed, which would indicate (along with, obviously, the protests surging after he called for them) that a shitton of Iranians really were listening to him.

A lot of "me" talk and stupid shit. So I put it in spoilers to not shit up the thread.
My dude, that is a lot of words and good for you but:
If I am on an Ocean Liner in April of 1912 and am solidly in the camp of "We need to reduce speed to make it easier to avoid icebergs", my opinion doesn't fucking matter if the captain decides we're going full speed ahead. I am stuck on the same boat regardless of my opinions about ship operations.

You can work towards your Fortress Europe and I hope you have success but that possibility doesn't matter currently.
Right now, at this minute, and for the forseeable future, you are going to be importing the rest of the Turd World. Right now, at this minute, Europe is in range of Iran's ballistic missiles with questionable ability to defend against them.
So right now, at this very second, Iran is an EXTREMELY European problem. You not incorrect that it SHOULDN'T be your problem, but that doesn't change reality. You are already involved, deeply involved, like it or not.

Europe is right now on a course where its even more a European problem given the level of turd world they are set to import. So again, while I wish you the best success in your Fortress Europe endeavors, it is going to take time for that course to be changed. That will take years. Iran is very much a Europe problem for the next decade AT MINIMUM.

So you can pout, you can stew, you can rage, but it will not change the reality of the situation. Unless you are going to replace every single European government in the next two weeks with one that will implement your Fortress Europe and send back all the niggers and sandniggers and let any new entrants die at sea (I got a little hard there imagining it), like it or not this is your problem.

And its got to be every EU government or you'll be Schengen'd under a brown wave.

I live in a country in a place that can be hit by Russia at any second now. Why should I care if some camel joker sends a missile my way?
The difference is Islam.

Russia may be imperialist, but at least it is a rational actor. They will never do something that will destroy Russia. This deters Russia from invading NATO members.

Iran is a radical Islamic theocracy, and this changes everything. They do not care about the consequences of starting a war because they believe that dying as a martyr is an express ticket to heaven.

You don't shut off the internet for over five days if everything is fine. If it stays down even more Iranians are going to get pissed. The main reason to keep the internet and phone lines down or severely restricted is to keep the CIA from talking to high ranking government officials. The Ayatollah is scared shitless that he's going to get couped. MES isn't just one Iranian dude, he's got admins in Indonesia, Egypt, Malaysia, and a few other muslim countries. The regime has probably lost control of at least one or two smaller cities and notice where they're filming the pro-regime protests in Tehran, they ain't filling the usual Azadi Square but smaller roads and roundabouts. I guarantee that the Ayatollah and other high ranking government and IRGC officials are talking to Russia about securing an escape route once we start bombing.

Alfoneh believes that Khomeini's son Ahmad tried to topple Rafsanjani during the Gulf War, 1st by publicizing Rafsanjani's quiet assurances to US that Iran would remain neutral, 2nd by seizing missile battery & attempting to fire it at US forces. Ahmad died mysteriously in 1995.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, since it's a couple of weeks old.

Although tenuous the internet outage is a decent proxy for the state of the protests. If the regime shills were correct about them dying out internet coverage would already be restored, if only to flood social media with state propaganda and solidify control of the narrative. Having it off means the Ayatollah and friends are still fearful of a revolution (or a coup) in the immediate future. This week certainly feels like a tipping point.

No shit Sherlock, the Mossad is running operations but it's clear that this is organic because Israel's attempt to start an uprising during the 12 day war failed. The US also doesn't have enough assets in the region.

What really pushed it over the edge was inflation and the economy collapsing. Fastest way to piss people off is when bread and milk cost $20, on top of that, you have to pay for water and rolling blackouts.

I am seeing a change in Europe, slow, but it is growing. The only hope is that the EU and NATO don't crack first under retarded Russian worshiping rightwing loons. Only shit holes like Sweden are still full-on open borders, and even they are stopping. More needs to be done, however. Does not help that we allow subhuman dogs like the Hungarians to yap.

But for Iran. What is the answer, sending soldiers to march on Iran? Bomb random buildings? What should we do?

but it's clear that this is organic
I don't care about your opinion.

Anyway, it looks like the US is going to do something. Nothing ever happens bros on suicide watch for the second time in a month.
