For anyone what the reference to 1953 is for, it is the year that Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh's government was overthrown in coup d'état orchestrated by the United States (CIA) and the United Kingdom (MI6). Mosaddegh had intended to nationalize the Iranian oil industry and to expel foreign corporate representatives from the country.
Fantastic documentary about that called Coup 53 for anyone who doesn't know about modern Iranian history and how we got here (I sure didn't). Ralph Fiennes even participates reading the testimony in character of the British agent responsible who is dead now. Strong recommend to find the torrent. Highly entertaining even if you don't care about Iran or it weren't relevant in the news.

Footage of what immediately happened at the anti-Iran protest before the U-Haul truck drove forward.

This shows how the signs on the side of the vehicle got torn and perhaps how someone got on top of it.
oh good I'm glad we have the good not-savage muslim iranian persians who got nutso apeshit and rip up a truck with "ur king feg go commies" written on the side, I was worried we had the crazy reactionary iranians

And the commies, being stupid commies, thought they could trust Khomeini and a bunch of crazy fundamentalist muzzies. Real smart plan.
It was more that their main goal was to remove Pahlavi. The religious fundamentalists outmaneuvered the communists because they had more mass appeal by organizing publicly via mosques and religious networks, which regular people attended, versus the communists who either operated in secret, in unions, or student groups. The communists were more academic and, especially after the CIA helped crush the Tudeh Party, their leaders were increasingly elitist.

Khomeini was also very strategic by putting clerics in important judicial positions before protesters hit the streets in 1979. Then he lambasted communists as being foreign vis-a-vis Islam. Whatever anyone wants to say about the guy, Khomeini was very smart.

Trump says Greenland's defense is "two dog sleds" and that the U.S. is "talking about acquiring, not leasing" the country, "if we don't do it, Russia or China will... you need ownership, you really need title..."

Very cruel and ruthless man but a good dictator who did better then his Iraqi rival by dying a less humiliating death and starting the grand Iranian tradition of disastrous funerals.

Did the truck actually hit anyone? Looks like he's just lurching down a clear road while people scream at him. Am I being psyopped?
To be honest with you I think he panicked and tried to leave but put himself in an unwinnable situation. If there was initially intent to ram and run down people I don't think the driver would be start and stopping multiple times.

If you're looking for tips on how to manipulate communists into doing your dirty work, and then how to liquidate them, look no further than Ruhollah Khomeini.

He just called CNN "stupid" for asking if Iran would take our threats seriously.

Then NYPost asks him about Greenland. "Not going to let China or Russia take it so we're gonna."

Will taking Greenland harm NATO?"

Trump: "I saved NATO, they might get upset but I'm not gonna disband it."

Lol guy is on a roll

Proven by testimony right before they hit the ground right?
attested to by many many people who've watched jumpers, and sometimes hard to find footage of them. they panic seconds after taking that last step. it kicks you into overdrive, your survival instincts kick in (uselessly, the concrete isn't a hungry wolverine) and you begin to think of things that matter to you, which causes you to think OH FUCK.

and yes, also attested to by people who survive it for one reason or another. a surprising amount of people who try to commit suicide once suddenly feel a lot better, because they just experienced one of the most harrowing moments of their lives, and it puts their day to day problems into perspective. many such cases.
