The issue is that kinda crap takes time, like 1-2 years minimum assuming everyone plays ball to form an independent nation at breakneck speed, which is something we are short on. I agree that your opinion is the most ideal and nice outcome, but reality doesn't conform like that.

i'm curious if this will cause an increase or decrease in the prices of healthier foods and meal preperation items like cheeses, meats, and other regular staple types of food. i THINK it will reduce the cost over time as the necessary cost increase can be offset by a horde of new buyers, but knowing how so many industries do, i worry they'll take advantage of the new push and will increase prices to squeeze everything they can out of foodstamp buyers.
