I'm not trying to pull any gotchas, I'm not a leftist either. I just think it's very important for those on the right to not live an echo chamber and understand how the enemy thinks and what they are discussing and the best ways of countering it.
Here is how leftists think: Trump bad.
All you have to do is pump out enough videos and articles associating something with Trump and leftists will hate it. Leftists already did this with
Harry Potter after declaring, over and over, that JK Rowling (who isn't even fucking American) was a leftist darling for over a decade. She made Dumbledore gay, she made Hermione black, she did everything, but then she said trannies can't get pregnant or have periods and that was a bridge too far.
These people are very simple, but believe they are complex and nuanced. Engaging with them beyond simple insults is a complete waste of your time. They want to waste your time so they can go on Facebook, Reddit, whatever, and claim they spent hours debating Literally Emperor Palpatine. Worse yet, many are common thugs who hope that yelling at you long enough will attract other retards so they can "win" by numbers.
The correct move is to insult them quickly and be done with it. Make it clear you don't care for them and won't engage. Even better is to ignore them entirely, since that denies their petty ego any dopamine hit; they can't be rageaholics and get upset about an evil Trumpster being mean when you give them literally nothing.
There
are some leftist people who actually understand what they are doing and talking about, but they do not waste their time debating people like me. Those people believe in revolution - like, actually - and people like me are to be dealt with by force. Whether it's social, political, or physical force is of no concern to them, but these kinds of leftists generally stick to directing the cannon fodder.
