My parents didn't let me watch Sesame Street because they said it was a dumb show for thug kids. I thought that was dumb as a kid, but now I'm glad I have zero connection to or knowledge of Sesame Street.
I remember watching early Sesame Street in black-and-white before our local public broadcaster went colour.

This is why I find All doomers are faggots. It's the lack of understanding about Realpolik and they would give up because it's not perfect.
Trump has many shortcomings and failures, of course. He has his Mustard Man moments and has fucked up horribly before. But he is the best option we have at this point. The unfortunate part is that the world politically runs off of Realpolitik.
Realpolitik: Get as much as we can with our options while ramming the Overton window as hard as we can to get more. And so far it seems that we're getting more as time goes on and as the culture shifts. This Overton window is moving at a speed i'd never thought possible.
We can go from 50-70 to 90-100 of what we want faster than from 0-100.
The Overton window is moving back because people went "This is gay" and voted for the most ridiculous candidate possible. I will never shit talk someone for having principles and refusing to vote for a bad candidate. Most of Ohio is weighing this decision right now in fact.

Not to mention Russia providing them with military equipment, advisors, etc. Or the Chinese effectively controlling Venezuela's rare earths industry.
Or Hezbollah running cocaine to the US through there to raise money . The DEA was investigating it until Obama stopped their investigation due to the Iran deal.

Josh is going full "TOTAL ELMO DEATH!" on xitter right now

FUCK SESAME STREET!
NPR is a dumpster fire, but I credit it for helping me leave the left behind.

I'm driving my first Mercedes around, an old diesel beater. Has the original radio, even the original speakers. I could only listen to classical and talk radio, because the speakers were so dry rotted, any bass at all made them fart out.

So I start listening to NPR. Muh very cultured, oh so intellectual NPR. Let's see what it's about, why not? Always hearing about it.

I noticed after awhile, aside from it being very much late 00s hipster soy flavored, that despite the constant rattling of the change cup begging for donations, it was not at all publicly funded. Not really.

I tuned out when they announced sponsors because it's basically advertising and I don't fucking care...wait, get the fuck out of here!

"The next hour of programming is funded by ExxonMobil. "

So, the oil oligarchs are sponsoring programming? That means they have leverage over the programming direction.

Then one day I notice the absolute dealbreaker, and I lost a lot of the small amount of respect I still had for leftists that day.

"This hour of prgramming is spinsored by Monsanto." Yes, the corporate fuckheads messing with our food supply and undermining independent farming with Roundup Ready GMO seeds Monsanto.

Did Halliburton sponsor airtime for NPR? Dunno, wouldn't be surprised, though.

That was the day my hot rodded version of typical 00s liberal perspective began to unravel. Jon Stewart would do his part, too, sunce all of a sudden when the Gay Nigger In Chief came online, the hard hitting questions and political fastballs were replaced by dick riding and underhand softballs, and a very obvious "you're racist if you question Barry Sotoro" tone.

Fuck NPR and fuck Sesame Street. The latter just teaches White children to hate themselves and fetishize browns, and I wonder if it was always so, just with a more subtle subtext.

Your parents were far more accurate than you know

it was tax payer funded program that on the label was supposed to "teach blacks to speak" but it was deeper about pushing multicultualism, who remebers Mr Rodgers washing his feet in the pool with the mailman? it was that same concept but for the youth not for adults. They wanted to show mixed race groups of students learning and playing together to make it seem ok and appropriate

The fuck does a steel Barron and automotive tycoon give a fuck about spelling? They dont, they give a fuck about cheap labor. Blacks and browns are cheaper and there is more of them to import so you dont have to waste time giving white people good lives so they have offspring at replacement levels. The blacks and browns breed uncontrollably even under the worst conditions.

BTW all the old building shit and the mudflood and suppression of free energy is ALL connected to this same shit

It’ll be interesting to see which Dem is willing to jump into the Governor race in MN with this shitstorm raining down. It’s 100% a democrat run operation (unlike Ohio.)

Tim Walz was only chosen the VP because he could be blackmailed be a good boy easily. We would have never have known about this if he was VP. Just think what we could uncover if we look into California.
He was the one white guy in the democratic party who seemed less competent than Kamala Harris and thus didn't risk "upstaging her."
The VP selection process has, for a long time, been about picking a less charismatic, less ambitious and competent person who sells the ticket to a different wing of the party. Vance was the first pick in a long time that screamed "the future won't necessarily be worse."
will stud mccool ever not be slack-jaw shocked that BUILDINGS EXISTED before 1950? fuckin hilarious.
Stones are so heavy, how could a human ever move one?

I didn't watch Sesame Street because I was a Nickelodeon kid and was too dumb/lazy to change the channel and try to find anything else. So instead of Sesame Street I had Eureka's Castle. Way better.

Shit is still surreal, i cant believe hes gone just like that.
Now that you are destined to rise and become El Nuevo Presidente of Venezuela, which of your fellow Kiwis are you going to pick for you presidential cabinet?

It still boggles me that you can grow up and never experience construction. Look my dad was above average when it came to carpentry. But Stud is basically saying he never took wood shop or saw his dad replace a door.
Be fair to him, he's from California. Californians let themselves become so dependent on illegal Mexican labor to build, well, anything, that not only did the knowledge of how to build things die a couple generations ago, now the knowledge that non-Mexicans can know how to build things has died.

Nobody tell Stud steel is flexible depending on the grade, while being able to stay rigid, which is why it's valuable
Even worse, the Eiffel Tower isn't steel. It's wrought iron. Compared to modern materials, that would be roughly equivalent to mild steel. Fucking ferrous metallurgy, how does it work?

How were those people bending steel girders that big? How were you getting them into place? How did you even TRANSPORT it to the site? I mean fuck, look at those footings.
Has California forgotten that horses exist, and were still in common in logistics into the 1900s?

you cant just explain this with "they worked harder" look at those tiny little horse and buggy people, they arent building towers just for fun, they COULDENT if they wanted to, they use HORSES to move shit.
Oh, okay, I was starting to worry about you. You do know that horses exist, even though it is clear you haven't seen a horse in person in a while, if ever.

Nigger, look at a box of Borax. Do you think "20 Mule Team" is just some old-timey meme? You're a Californian, you should know this bit of your own state history. Borax was hauled out of Death Valley, ten tons at a time, up until 1898, using a bunch of mules, because there were no railroads out that far yet. Need to move something big and fucking heavy? Can't afford one of those new-fangled expensive motor wagons? Fuck it, throw more pack animals at the problem.

my ancestors watching me be the first generation of men since the agricultural revolution to have to compete with women for the PRIVILEGE to work and get just enough money to not drown in debt while at the same time AI begins taking jobs.

50 percent more people need jobs now according to the equal rights bill, did they make 50% more jobs?

This society has created a unique style of "slow burn" awfulness it make one dream fondly of the fields of Crimea or Agincourt

even with trump doing whatever it his he is doing I cant help but feel we are just still all waiting for the bottom to fall out of this society made by men for women
