Visegrad 24 are some Central European Miggers. Venezuela has had a state owned oil and gas concern PDVSA since 1976. The Saudis have Aramco. Iran's NIOC was created under Mossadegh, but the Shah retained it when Kermit Roosevelt, merchants and clergy of Iran restored him. Honestly, the US might prefer a pliable state oil company (albeit far more efficient and less degraded than Chavista PDVSA which sacked professional staff). One basis concern is how the US will manage some small footprint puppet regime effort when the Venezuelan opposition are twits. The Chavista military power vertical could be co-opted, for they'll eat the opposition alive, provided the CIA still have professionals in place (Trump's wild swings on Ukraine take the form of a CIA briefing which makes him pro Ukraine then sweet nothings phone call from Putin pulling him the other way). Faraway disasters like Gaza or Ukraine must've been too dull. Why not bring the action to the Americas? It's a shitshow.

At this point, reading any thread related to Venezuela in this site is an act of self-harm.
The ramifications are bad regardless of sides. This humanitarian crisis will create more refugees, these refugees will eventually go to America.
Trump won't rule America forever, and the white genocide they fear will speed up because the next administration might undo everything Trump is currently doing. (wishful thinking)
Also, not a lot of nations approved this strike. Only Argentina, Albania and Kosovo supported this. All client states. Argentina has Milei and is being bailed out by Trump, Albania is a staunch NATO ally due to the balkan wars. Kosovo only exists thanks to America and its population is mostly composed of Albanians.
Nearly all of the EU did not approve this, although some "kinda" did, like Italy. But they all condemned the air strikes. This is the first time the US directly bombed a South American country. Not a good look geopolitically, the US isn't used to doing air strikes in there.
All in all, MIGGAS sound no different from Russian Z patriots back in 2022.

AFAIK, this one thus far is just a smash-and-grab. The issue is, given Trump's words and how everyone is running around, it really sounds like no one knew what would happen/was happening, and this Maduro kidnapping was outta the blue. Though given Trump's words of how US owned oil companies are gonna "invest" (read: take all the wealth from) the country's oil fields, who knows how it goes.
