In regards to the US leading Venezuela, get ready for another money pit, and possibly another forever war. The military's captured Maduro and blown some shit up to do so but doesn't have any sort of control over Venezuela on the ground yet, and trying to gain that control could get far bloodier than the smash and grab that just happened. This operation isn't anywhere near over yet. It might not be as bad as Iraq or Afghanistan but keep in mind with Venezuela being closer to the US spawning a long war there and letting
the homicidal drug addled special forces loose on the civilian population is not gonna inspire stability. Remember that Latin America has had a long history of guerilla warfare, do you really think that won't resurge? Do you really think the Venezuelans are gonna accept a FEMALE president? Even Trump himself admitted that they won't.
