It is because you (millenials) went to drunken parties, sucked and fucked in gay orgies, and are now half of the Zoomies parents. Yes we hate you people. You left us a shitty world.
You really can't blame Millennials for the world any more than you can blame Zoomers or Gen Alpha. Gen X, at least, had the luxury of being able to get in on the ground floor of the tech industry, when they still required actual talent. By the time the last Millennials were graduating high school and college, DEI and outsourcing had already hit full swing in all industries, including tech.
Millennials haven't really held any substantial power, and many are still grasping to get their careers
started as they trudge into their 30s and 40s. That's why the generation is split between consumer hedonists who have just given up entirely, and those who are rabidly angry at the state of this country. Even the liberal ones see stuff is wrong, they're just brainwashed into not knowing the actual cause or solution.
That said, generation blaming is cringe and gay. A lot of the shit the Boomers get was for behavior that was endemic in the Silent generation, who people rarely give shit to, and even the so-called Greatest Generation had its massive character flaws. But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. A handful of wealthier Silents or Boomers preaching to not giving inheritence to their kids didn't fuck up this country.
What fucked up this country is a handful of corrupt, massively wealthy, people who sold out the West to raise their
perceived wealth and control. Could other generations have done something about it? Maybe. But this shit has been slowly rotting since before even the Greatest Generation took power, and covered up by massively with endless threads of bureaucracy and billions of dollars in psychological research and operations.
