Let's not forget that when the feds rounded up the DisruptJ20 plotters, a federal judge let them all out of jail and required the federal government to pay them compensatory damages. The hard thing about enforcing the law against the left isn't finding the lawbreakers; it's making sure they get neither arrested nor charged in a district run by a Marxist judge who is more than happy to subvert the law in service of The Cause.

"Because Trump did it" is literally the qualifier for what is or isn't news now. Slow day? "Trump literally did something at some point that we're going to suddenly be disgusted/disappointed/angry about." Things happening? "Trump did a thing today and here's how you should feel about it." Or "something happened today, outside the US, but here's how Trump is responsible".
